Today, I'm being forced to go to a club. By Jazz. Can today get any worse? Actually, it can. How? Running into my ex is how.
Let's go backward a bit, I was still staying with Jazlynne, and she let me use her bathroom to get ready.
I was wearing a mini dress that went to half of my thighs, and it showed a bit of cleavage. It also squeezed my curves.
Jazz bought this for me. She said that this would attract men and attract men is good because it could potentially help me get over my ex.
I would like to disagree with her, though. I'm not ready to get over my ex or find a new guy. I don't think my heart could handle another heartbreak because of how big this one was.
The only reason I'm going is to stop Jazz from pestering me. It's actually pretty annoying. All day, she was like, "C'mon Sheila! It's going to help with your mood!" And " Maybe you'll find a new guy! A better guy! No! A man."
I can't believe I let her talk me into this. I mean, I guess it's already too late to back down now.
I check myself out in the mirror, a bit satisfied by the way I look. I have to admit that I look hot.
"Sheila! Come on! Let's go!" Jazlynne whines. Oh my god, that girl is going to be the death of me.
"Okay, okay. Im coming." I said back and walked out the bathroom. As soon as I walked out of the bathroom, she gasped. And I also gasped. We both gasped.
She gasped at my looks. I gasped at the most sexy looking guy ever. Her brother. I squealed and ran over to him as best as I could in this dress. He stood up and walked towards me, too.
"Kaden! I missed you so much!" I said as Mt greeting.
"I missed you too, Ila. Damn! Look at you! You're hot." He said back.
Omg, I almost forgot that his nickname for me was "Ila". It's pronounced like how my name would be pronounced but without the "Sh" part.
"Me?! Look at you? You went from a scrawny kid with no muscles whatsoever, and now you're growing an 8 pack!" I said back, blushing a bit.
The backstory behind Kaden and I's relationship is that as kids, we were best friends. The three of us. Kaden, Jazlynne, and me. We were inseparable. Well, until Kaden went to college. Then Jazz and I. When Kaden went to college, us two girls didn't have a phone yet, so we tried to keep in touch with letters, but they all kept getting lost in the mail, so we all gave up.
We both laughed and hugged. I decided it was the right time to ask why he was here. "So, Kaden? What's up? What are you doing here?"
"Is it that wrong for me to see my childhood best friend?" He asked with a smirk.
"No, it's not, it's just... wouldn't you have told me? Or Jazz?" I said, now confused.
He opened his mouth to speak, but I cut him off, looking at Jazlynne, "You told him?!"
"Well, yes, I mean, I thought tha-" I cut her off, too.
"No! I don't want to hear it! I can't believe you told him without my consent! You even told my brother without my consent! It's my business of who I want to tell!" I yelled at her, tears streaming down my eyes.
I ran into the bathroom and started taking off my makeup and my dress. Then, I put on sweatpants and a shirt.
After that, I started packing my stuff. Which wasn't much. It was just really my phone, charger, my car keys, and the clothes that I wore here the first night.
As I was packing, Kaden came into the room I was in. "Where are you going?" He asked.
"Somewhere"
"Where is that somewhere?" He asked again.
"A place"
"What place is it?"
" A place where you do not need to know because you won't be visiting me."
"Sheila, c'mon. This whole thing is a big pile of shit. And David is an even bigger pile of shit."
I chuckled a bit, "Jazlynne had no right to tell you my fucking business."
"I know, she didn't, and she doesn't. But I'm glad she told me because knowing you, you would have never told me, and that would mean I could have never been able to be here for you."
I stay silent, thinking about his words. "Just think about it." He asked. Well, really, he commanded it, but still.
"I'm going out for fresh air," I said after a while. And he let me. That's what I like about him so much. He knows when people need to time to themselves, and he doesn't try to stop them.

I'm walking in the park, a cool breeze blowing my hair. I'm relaxed. Until I see my ex and my step sister kissing underneath a tree.
"Kissing" is an understatement. It was more like having a bloodbath type of war but with tongue.
I kinda wish it were me with him. Just a bit. Only a little bit. A tiny little bit.
And that was enough to make me want to burrow in a whole and never come out.
Then, that's when they both saw me. Daniel's eyes widened in surprise, and something else I couldn't quite put my finger on.
I ran back to Jazz's apartment and ran into the door, crying.
Kaden and Jazz were on the couch, watching TV when I ran in crying. They both looked at me and my running mascara.
Kaden was the first to get up and embrace me. When Jazz tried to hug me too, I just pushed her away, still mad at her for telling Kaden without my permission.
Kaden and I continued hugging for a good 10 minutes before he picked me up, bridal style, and walked to the bathroom.
He placed me on the bench in the bathroom and grabbed the makeup remover and three cotton rounds.
He started wiping the makeup off my face, making sure not to get anything in my eyes or mouth.
Afterward, he gave me privacy to put on my pajamas. Which I was thankful for.
I let him know when I was done changing, and he came in the room with his own pajamas on.
He set up the couch into a bed and climbed in, and I knew instantly what he was thinking.
He wanted to sleep together. Well, not like that. But like, sleep in the same bed. It think that's clear enough.
So, don't think anything dirty. Because it most likely didn't happen... yet.
I lay down next to him, and he put his arms around me.
To say the least, it was most likely the best night of sleep I ever had.
I even had the same dream I had last night, me at my wedding getting married to someone but I still didn't see their face.
But their chest looked vaguely similar.
Very similar.
