After the most perfect, dreamy evening in my secret garden, Kade and I head back up to his dorm, my heart still racing from everything he's done for me today. I'm already on cloud nine, completely overwhelmed by how thoughtful and sweet he's been, but the moment we walk into his room, I freeze.
Sitting on the bed, in all its pristine glory, is a brand-new Birkin bag. My jaw drops, and for a moment, I'm speechless.
"Oh. My. God," I gasp, staring at the bag in disbelief. "Kade, how—"
Before I can finish, I practically jump into his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist, hugging him tightly. "How did you even...?"
He laughs, holding me up effortlessly as I cling to him. "It wasn't easy," he admits, setting me back down gently. "You should've seen the worker's face when I walked into Hermès and asked for a Birkin. I think she thought I was messing with her."
I'm still stunned, my eyes wide as I reach out to touch the bag, tracing the smooth leather. "This is... I can't believe it."
Kade grins, leaning back against the doorframe. "I had to pull some connections, make a few calls, but I know how much you love them. And, well, after that one time I almost died because I slipped a drop of coffee on your pink Birkin, I figured it was worth the effort."
I burst out laughing, shaking my head. "You remember that?"
"How could I forget? I still flinch whenever I drink coffee near any of your bags," he teases, his eyes shining with amusement.
I throw my arms around him again, still in disbelief that he went through all this trouble for me. "You're spoiling me today," I murmur, my voice filled with gratitude and love.
He kisses the top of my head, his arms wrapping around me protectively. "You deserve it, princess."

The morning light filters through the window, casting a soft glow over the room as I slowly wake up, feeling the familiar ache all over my body. I stretch slightly, groaning at the soreness.
Before I can even gather my thoughts, I hear Kade's voice, smooth and teasing. "You good over there?" he asks, his tone light as he sips his coffee. I glance over, and there he is, leaning against the doorway, wearing nothing but his grey sweatpants, his hair tousled, and a smirk on his face.
I can't help but laugh, though it hurts to move. "I don't think I'll be able to walk for a few days," I groan, rubbing my sore muscles. "I mean... seven times? That's a record, even for us."
Kade chuckles, setting his coffee down on the nightstand as he saunters over to the bed. "Yeah, well, I can't get enough of you, princess," he murmurs, his voice low and soft as he leans down to kiss me.
I melt into the kiss, my body still aching, but the warmth of his lips and the way he pulls me close makes me forget about the soreness for a moment. When he pulls back, his eyes are full of that familiar mischief, and I can't help but smile.
"You really know how to spoil a girl," I tease, my voice light.
He grins, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "Only for you, my love."
Kade's POV
Allison is curled up on my bed, engrossed in some Netflix series, her eyes glued to the screen. She's so relaxed, so comfortable, and I can't let her know what I'm about to do. She doesn't need to worry about this—about him.
As she laughs softly at whatever's happening on the screen, I quietly reach over and grab her phone. She doesn't even notice, too wrapped up in the show. I unlock it quickly, searching through her contacts until I find the name that makes my blood boil.
