The legend of Scratchy

Chapter 2: Scratchy's origins

Years ago, The human that will become Clucky, Richard Beakman and his father Charles Beakman were busy thinking how to attach more people to the restaurant. Richard has stroked an idea. "Dad, why not a new character?" Charles says "A new character?" Richard replies "Yeah, people are getting tired of seeing Clucky all the time so why not make a new character. Maybe a lady chicken." Charles give it some thought, but agrees to the idea. "Not a bad idea Clucky's." But then, he realize something. "We don't have the money to pay for the materials." Richards smirks "Don't worry Dad, me and a friend of my got the next best thing." Richard holds a candy with a strange symbol in his hand behind his back.

Meanwhile at a farm. a group of chickens were minding their own business, but one of the chickens were imagining the future, she knows that the farmers are only feeding them to be turned into food. One day Charles comes to the Farm looking for a chicken girl. He went up to the farmers and asked "Do y'all have any female chickens?" The husband replies "Well there other there." The wife farmer then say, "You can only have one chicken." Charles takes a look at the chickens and pick the one that is getting bad vibes from the farmers and him. He says "I'll take that chicken that was looking at me funny." He handed a dime to the wife and heads in to grab the chicken. The Chicken clucks to her friends "Girls that guy have buyed me! I think he's planning on eating me! I mean look at me! I'm just a baby!" The chicken's friends bucks back "Quit number 25! And stop this conspiracy!" Charles grabbed the chicken and put her in a cage. She watches as her friends only eating to their doom while she was taken away by this restaurant owner.

At the restaurant, Richard opens the candy warper revealing a strange bubblegum candy. Charles bring the scarred chicken to the basement where's Richard is that. He sees the gum in Richard's hands and was curious. "Now son, what in blazes you got there!?" Richard replies "Oh not much. Just a special evolution candy. A friend of mine made this for a science fair." Richard explains that the gum can evolve anything beyond the evolution chain. Charles says "Richard we should let your brother know." Richard growls at the idea. In his heart he hated his little stepbrother Jack. He then reposes "No, dad if he finds out about this, he'll tell everyone about our secret project!" Richard then forced the chick to eat the gum. The gum starts to mutate her. Charles and Richard duck for cover from the shocks that coming from the mutating chick. The Chick's wings become hands and her body gets bigger. But the side effect turns her feathers back. She looks that her body and Richard and Charles couldn't believe their eyes. "Well" Charles say "That was unexpected." Richard looks at the chicken. "The gum must have been stale. Oh well, we still got our new mascot." The Chicken barks at them "What did you people did to me!?"  The Chicken was shocked. "Wait I can talk?!" Richard went up to her and explain "Why yes, of course you can talk. Now you can work here for free." The Chicken was confused but agrees to work there to help them serve food. Charles steps up and say "First you gonna need a name. How about Scratchy?" The chicken took the name Scratchy quite well.

The next day, Scratchy got a beautiful uniform and was put in charge of the party room above the arcade. She entertain the children and tell jokes about the farm. But when the shift over she starts to think about her friends and the fate coming to them. But she has a little light side telling her things will be right. A few days gone by and the customers flock to the restaurant more. Until one day she notice one of the children is holding a bucket full of chicken. She over heard two employees talking about the chicken. One of them say "You think it's odd we have a chicken preforming at a place that sells fried chicken?" The other one replies "No it's fine as long she didn't find out the truth." Scratchy was shocked to hear that this place sales chicken. But the voice inside of her tells to play cool until the restaurant closes. At night she couldn't sleep. She worries about her friends.

The next day before the restaurant opens, she asked Charles "Hey uh, Charles about what happen yesterday. Why do you serve chicken buckets here?" Charles replies "A kid brought a food in the party room? I told not to do that. Anyways don't worry about it. Don't let it get to you." The few hours Scratchy tries to ignore the chicken buckets that kids were having. But then illusions of her friends are starting to come out from the chicken. The voice tries to calm her down, but fails as Scratchy rushes towards the kitchen. She scratch the chefs and destroy the ovens. Charles comes in and shock Scratchy from behind. Richard comes and Charles scolds his son for this mess. "You made a big mess here son!" Richard talks back "But dad, the chefs are not dead!" Charles yells "That does matter! What matter is that this is your idea to use that gum! You're lucky that we can use the money to repair the ovens and make a new mascot costume! So don't use that gum again!" The voice reveals him as an angel looks at Scratchy with shame and disappointment. 

Then at present day, Clucky finishes his story. "And then we lock her in the theater backroom and throw away the key!" Jaxon slams the table and yells "Wait, you and dad make a new mascot before Jaxon and you didn't tell me!?" Clucky scolds "Calm down Jaxon! I'm afraid you might tell everybody about my experiment! And now you release her out onto the world!" Jaxon growls but Polar Prince grabs him and Clucky continue scolding him. "You know what happen with Punny Bunny and Greasy Glum! They poke their noses where they don't belong and that ended in incinerator! Now you'll receive the punishment as they did!" Clucky snaps his fingers and Polar Prince bring him to his jail ceil. Jaxon got up and look at a photo of when he and Clucky were humans. "What happen?" Jaxon asked "What happen between you and me Richard. We were close but then we fall apart."

Meanwhile Scratchy is roaming the Restaurant. Scratchy states "This place haven't change much since I last I've work here. But there's a few new locations I've never seen before like that ice castle area." Scratchy thinks about Jaxon Jackyl. "That jackal, what did he meant he felt the way I feel."

Meanwhile with Clucky, he's ordering the Polar Prince, Roofus and Barney to capture Scratchy. "And if you see any employees don't forgot to have snack out of them."
