HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃👻

Billie's POV

We've been in the mall for three hours. During these three hours, I've realized why I don't go shopping with Jessie like I used to. When she starts, it's kind of hard to stop her. Like now, we're currently looking at paint.

Jessie and I decided, well, more like Jessie decided and I agreed, that we were going to give Selena two different rooms.

One for little her and the other one for big her. Since big and little Selena are like the same in and out of little space. We decided that this would be a good idea since she'll be staying with us for a while. Also, because they both need their own space.

Some people may ask why we're doing all of this, especially since she is not our little. And the answer to that is we're taking a risk that can easily end in failure or success.

If I'm being honest, my gut is telling me it will be a mixture of both, but mostly success.

"What colors do little and big you like?" I heard Jessie ask, which brought me out of my thoughts.

"Well, big me likes mint green and little me likes light blue and light pink," she said

(I'm not sure if I mentioned the colors she like but if I did like just pretend these are her favorite)

By the face Selena was making, I could tell she didn't know why that question was asked. I think she still thinks we're asking her questions to get to know her.

In a way, we are, but that's not our true intention. We learned a lot of her likes and dislikes, though.

"Baby, can you come here really quick?" Jessie asked me. I walked over to her and waited for her question. "Do you think we should do a sky theme for her little room?" she whispered so that Selena wouldn't hear her.

I nodded my head and looked beside us to check on Selena. I didn't see her standing where she was at first.

I freaked out because when I looked around the area; I didn't see her anywhere near us. "Uhm Jess, we have a problem," I said, trying to get her attention.

"What did Selena slip?" She said without looking at me. "No, but she is not here either," I said as she caused her to snap her head my way.

She started looking around like I did and saw that Selena wasn't there like I said. We split up to see if we could find her.

I understand she is not little right now, but she still doesn't need to walk off without telling us. It's still a dangerous word even if she's little or not.

After looking through this whole store and not seeing her, panic finally settled in.

"What are we going to do? She's not here. We looked through the whole store," Jessie said with tears in her eyes.

"Baby, we have to calm down and think. Was there anything we passed by that could have caught her attention?" I asked.

Jessie took a deep breath to calm herself down. After some thinking, she then answered with " there were a couple of stores that I caught her looking at. She could be in one of them." I nodded my head and said, "let's go check them out."

It's been about thirty-five minutes and we're at the last store, Build-A-Bear, which I feel like it should have been our first store. We looked around but didn't see her. I walked up to the worker. "Excuse me, I was wondering, have you seen a girl that's about 4'9. Her hair is almost in the middle of her back; it's black with brown ends."

After explaining what she had on the worker, who's name turned out to be Jessica, nodded her head and said we just missed her. She also informed us she walked out with a man. Apparently, he's a white male about 6'5 and has blond hair.
