"Ilan score mo?"

Sayang."

"Ma-mimiss ko ang mga pet peeve ko!"

"Ang liliit ng grades ko. Kapag ako talaga grumaduate, totoo talaga si Lord."

"First quarter 82, second quarter 81, third quarter 80... tangina kinakabahan ako sa fourth quarter."

I just laughed as I cleaned up the confetti from our senior high class closing ceremony.

Of course, it was impossible to avoid getting emotional with my classmates. We had been together for almost two years. A lot of friend circles broke apart because of cheating, and many new ones formed.

It was fun being their class president for almost two years. They never gave me much trouble, only occasionally.

Of course, they couldn't help acting childish. But when I scolded them, they would act so apologetic. They didn't want me to get angry because they said I'd tell Yhael on them.

That guy...

Wala na dapat maiiwan dito since this is our last day in this classroom," paalala ko sa kanilang lahat.

Once everyone left and I was alone, I sighed. I looked around the classroom, thinking back to everything that had happened in each corner.

This classroom... it witnessed all the struggles my classmates and I went through. Everyone's tears when they couldn't answer surprise quizzes and graded recitations, everyone's heartbreak, and most importantly, the guys cheating in the back even though they knew there were CCTV cameras.

Our adviser said we shouldn't leave any trace of ourselves behind. So, I walked over to the bulletin board at the back where our class officers' pictures were displayed. The dates of everyone's birthdays, pictures taken by classmates and printed and stuck up there. Most of them were of all of us. The first picture together, back when we were in Grade 11—I was always at the edge. But in our first and last picture for Grade 12, I was always in the center. They always posed with their fingers pointed at me while I smiled in the middle, like their queen.

I took them all down, one by one, even the name of our section. It's really heartbreaking to look back on all the memories we made, knowing they won't happen again.

A lot of people will stop studying to work before going to college. Many will leave to study in other countries or places in the Philippines... like Sovie.

"You guys aren't kids anymore." I turned around to see who spoke from behind me.

Yhael walked up to me and helped me take down the names of the class officers. He removed my name first. "Aphle Xierinah Poniente, the class president of Grade 12-HUMSS 1. Angas," he said.

He grabbed a chair and sat down, slouching as he watched me organize the pictures and put them into an eco bag.
