Celstial landed on the soft sand of the beach. The beach was hidden by the forest that surrounded it. The rest of the dragons were already there and were curled up and fast asleep. Hailey was sleeping with the tail of the dark blue dragon she had been riding curled around her. It was almost dark and Lorek and Flare were no where to be found. Jade cast the light spell that Lorek showed her in the maze and wandered around a bit calling for the two. She gave up quickly because she was tired from the emotional stress of the day. First, escaping Darmoore and now the loss of Dylan. She didn't worry about Lorek though. Jade knew that Lorek was smart and could find his way easily through Dragoria, plus he had magic. She hoped that if he returned to the cave he would somehow know that they escaped and return to the beach. She walked back to where the other dragons were and laid next to Celestial who protectively curled his tail around her. She fell asleep quickly and fell into a deep dream.

"Jadice? Jadice?"
Footsteps.
"Wake up sweetie?"
Rustling.
Jade opened her eyes. Most of the area she was in was blurred out. She could tell it was a bed room from the soft bed-like object she was laying on. Above her was a woman dressed in a long green dress with long sleeves and golden embroidery. She had long auburn hair just like Jade and deep red lips. She smiled when she saw Jade open her eyes. She looked familiar. Jade turned to see a silver dragon sitting in the corner of the room. It looked like a baby dragon, only about three feet tall when sitting. Jade looked down at herself. Her hands were smaller and her feet had shrunk. She looked back up at the woman who had a worried expression plastered on her face.
"Who are you?" Jade asked surprised when her voice sounded different. "Who am I?"
"Darmoore!!!! Something is wrong with Jadice!!!" The woman yelled. She carried Jade and ran out of the room and through other blurry rooms. They ran past a mirror and time seemed to stop. Jade saw herself. She was 4 or 5 years old and had bad burn scars all over the left side of her face.
Time started again. It was if the dream was trying to show her certain things and hiding others by blurring them out. The woman entered another room carrying Jade. There was a man there. He was blurry but his voice was easy to put a face to.
"What is it sister?" The man asked.
"Darmoore, my daughter." The woman said frantically. She said something else but it was blurred by the dream.
"Everything will be alright Dahliyah. I can try a few spells?" The man was definitely Darmoore his voice had the same sharp tone. He started casting spells at Jade.
The two continued to talk but Jade didn't hear what they were saying. "This is my real mom?" Jade asked herself.
"Your my mom?" She said aloud and the woman's eyes filled with tears.
"You don't remember?" She said.
"I....no....I don't." Jade said quietly. "I'm sorry."
"What happened? Why don't you remember anything!" The woman said louder as she started shaking.
"We could send her to Earth." Darmoore suggested.
"What?!" The woman yelled. "How would that help us at all?"
"They have these people that correct memory loss. Maybe that would help."
"I guess if that is the only option. None of the spells seemed to work."

Jade woke up.

Why didn't she remember anything?

Was that really her mother?

Was Darmoore the reason she was sent to Earth.

All these questions flooded Jade's mind. She sat up. It was dawn and the sun began to peek over the horizon. She turned to look at the mountains in the distance where Dylan died and saw a figure riding on a gold dragon.
"Lorek?!" Jade yelled. "Is that you?"
The figure waved. Lorek had found them. Jade heard growling behind her. She had woken up the dragons, including Celestial and Hailey.
"Sorry. Lorek is back!" Jade said.
The dragons rolled their eyes and fell back asleep meanwhile Hailey stood up and walked over to Jade.
"Do you think he found Dylan?" Her eyes were red and puffy. It was obvious she had cried her self to sleep.
Jade gave her a hug, "Maybe." She knew in her mind though that Dylan was dead for good. No one could survive lava flowing that fast. By now Lorek was close to the beach. Jade couldn't wait to ask him about her dream and find answers about her mom.
