Conflict

When I had heard it was a yes, my hopes had gotten up. I was able to finally leave the camp. I felt like I was being released from prison almost. I started off on my mission with Sunny' Fire, Awaiting to meet Smoke'whisker, and give him a piece of my mind.

I was walking with Sunny' Fire for a long time. We were approaching the barn where Smoke' Whisker lived. The excitement I felt soon turned into anxiety as we grew closer.

"Are you ready for this, Dead' Paw?" Sunny' Fire asked, noticing my worried expression.

"I think so..." I replied, trying to sound confident.

Sunny' Fire chuckled, "You look like you're going to explode from anxiety at any second now."

I playfully swatted his ear, "Shut up! I'm just nervous, that's all."

"Don't worry, I'll be by your side the whole time," Sunny' Fire reassured me, a warm smile on his face.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves, "Okay, let's do this..."

We finally reached the entrance of the barn. It was worn down and looked abandoned.

"You sure he's in there?" I asked, glancing at the broken door.

Sunny' Fire nodded, "Yes, I've seen him go in there before. Ready?"

I nodded silently, steeling myself for whatever may happen.

Sunny' Fire pushed open the door and we went inside. The inside of the barn was dark and musty, and it smelled like old hay and something I couldn't quite identify.

I wrinkled my nose in disgust, "Ugh, it smells terrible in here!"

Sunny' Fire chuckled, "Yeah, this place definitely needs a good cleaning."

We walked deeper into the barn, trying to find any sign of Smoke' Whisker. After a few moments, we heard a noise coming from the back of the barn.

"What was that?" I hissed quietly.

Sunny' Fire held up a paw to silence me, "Let's find out..."

We slowly approached the source of the noise, and as we got closer, we saw a shadowy figure in the corner of the barn.

I recognized the figure instantly. It was Smoke' Whisker. He was rummaging through some boxes, unaware of our presence.

I observed Smoke' Whisker in silence, my heart pounding in my chest. The anxiety I had felt earlier was now replaced by a feeling of readiness, a willingness to confront him.

I clenched my paws, contemplating the idea of revenge and the thought of injuring him. Yet, something held me back, a hint of hesitation about causing harm to another cat.

Sunny' Fire watched me closely, sensing my inner struggle.

Suddenly, there was a loud crashing noise as the boxes that Smoke' Whisker was inspecting fell over.

Smoke' Whisker jumped in surprise, and spun around to face us. His eyes widened in shock when he saw us standing there.

He let out an angry hiss, "What are you doing here?!"

I stepped forward, mustering up as much courage as I could, "You know exactly why we're here, Smoke' Whisker. We know what you did to my mother."

Smoke' Whisker sneered, "Your mother was worthless, just another weak kittypet. I did what I had to do."

My heart flared with anger as I listened to his words about my mother. "She was not worthless!" I snapped, my voice rising in volume.

The hesitation that had previously held me back was now replaced by a fierce determination, the flame in my heart burning bright with the desire for revenge.

Smoke' Whisker chuckled sinisterly, "Oh, what are you going to do about it, little one? You're just a feisty, small apprentice, you don't scare me."

I took another step forward, my eyes filled with fire, "I may be young, but don't underestimate me. I won't let you get away with hurting my mother. You'll pay for what you did."

Smoke' Whisker's expression darkened, and he crouched down, his muscles tensing as if he was about to pounce. "You little brat! You really think you can take me on? You're out of your league!"

I felt my body trembling, but I refused to back down. "Come at me then, if you think you're so tough!" I snapped, lifting my tail in a defiant stance.

As Smoke' Whisker lunged forward, I dodged out of the way quickly. My small size and quick reflexes allowed me to move with agility and speed.

Sunny' Fire watched cautiously from the side, ready to intervene if needed, but clearly impressed by my skills.

Smoke' Whisker let out a frustrated hiss, "You're fast, I'll give you that. But you can't outrun me forever, little brat!"

He lunged again, swiping at me with his powerful claws. I twisted and dodged, narrowly avoiding being scratched.

Smoke' Whisker was getting more and more aggressive with each attack. Each time he missed me, he grew angrier and his attacks became more vicious.

I dodged and weaved, trying to find an opening to strike back. However, Smoke' Whisker seemed to predict my every move. It was all I could do to avoid being scratched or bitten.

I could feel my heart racing and my breath coming in short gasps. The fight was taking a toll on me, but I refused to give up.

As the fight went on, I started to feel a sense of confidence building. I began to read Smoke' Whisker's movements more easily, and I began to predict his next attacks.

I started to strike back, delivering quick, sharp jabs and slashes. I could see the surprise on Smoke' Whisker's face as he realized that I was not as easy to defeat as he had thought.

He stumbled backwards, visibly shocked and shaken. He had underestimated me, and now he was feeling the consequences.

I continued my attack, pressing my advantage. My movements were swift and precise, each hit landing with a satisfying impact.

Smoke' Whisker tried to fight back, but his movements were sluggish and uncoordinated. He was clearly struggling to keep up with me.

I keep fighting, and soon, I win with a brutal swing of my claws to Smoke'Whisker's face, gouging out an eye, blood splattering across the wood floor, my claws looking like I had just dipped my paws in dark, red, blood. Smoke'Whisker Cowers off in fear, no expecting me to gain the upper hand so fast, So fast that he didn't even have time to react or get a hit back, He had learned his lesson.

"Serves you Damn right, murderer." I spoke with venom lacing my voice, and Sunny'fire looking proud of me.
