Chapter4. A memory regain

I wrapped emptied the trash out the back like told and walked back inside to see Xaio smiling 'You ready to cook?' She asked and I nodded 'I do need to wash my hands do I not?' I asked and she nodded. I quickly washed my hands and went to where she stood 'Alright. She's all yours. Just whatever you do don't put to much salt!' She warned and I nodded. When she left I quickly added food and water to the pot. I was just mixing things togeather and crossing my fingers for the best! I stir the stew and watch as the red liquid reflected my reflection. I smiled and stirred it again before sipping some. It was to hot causing me to drop the wooden stirring spoon in the pot! I back up quickly 'Oi! (Name)!' I quickly spin around to see Xun smiling 'L-Lu Xun! I-I mean master!' I quickly boy and he laughs 'How do you like the kitchen?' He asked I smiled 'I-It's great Master Xun!' I say and he looked to the pot 'Stew?' I only nodded and walked to it and I stared at him from aside then it hits me, the taste wasn't right. Quickly I ran forward 'No!' I scream and tackle him from the side! Time slowed as we fell. The wooden spoon flies from his hands sending the red liquid into the air! We hit the floor with a crashing sound! I wince before getting up only to come face to face with Xun! Our noses inches away from each other we both blush deeply and I quickly get off him! I lend a hand to help him up 'S-Sorry!' I said and he smiled 'That's okay..Its not finished is it?' He asked and I scratched the back of my head 'N-Not really.' I say then he turned to the door 'Alright then, I can wait.' He begins to leave but suddenly a pain hits me 'Ah..!' I whispered and he stopped then looked to me. I grabbed my head '(Name)?' He asked and my body swayed as I took a step forward, I reached out 'X-Xun..' I managed to say then his eyes went wide and I fell forward and crashed! '(NAME)!!' He screamed then my eyes closed.

White. I looked around then I saw a scene was appearing... I saw two people standing there.. It was a child and a male. He was smiling a wide smile '(Name)! My lovely daughter, I will forever protect you so don't cry! If your afraid of a storm then here I shall stay.' He said and I smiled 'Father..' I whispered as I watched the younger me clear her tears from her cheek 'Thank you father.' She says in a low voice. Then I watched as the memory faded causing me to put my hand over my heart then I see myself sitting at the firepit while my mother holds me close 'Why mommy?! Why did the gods take him!?' I screamed as tears fell from my cheeks 'It was his time..Don't worry, I will protect you.' She said soothingly..The scene faded and tears filled my eyes then fire. Flames burning everywhere. I looked around to see me running with my mother 'mommy I want to protect you.' I hear those words echo. I watched as she shoved my small figure forward 'Go!' She said 'Mommy!' I say and she pulled out a knife! I watched as she stood tall before the officers! I wince and fell to my knees as she was cut! Pain fill my body and I grab my head 'MOM!' I hear myself cry causing me to scream in pain as I felt something hit my stomach! I opened my eyes and the scene of my mother hitting the ground filled my (Eye color) eyes... She reached out and I quickly did the same 'NO! WAIT! DONT GO!' I screamed as I almost had her hand but then she faded! I covered my mouth and another scene appears.. I was crying beside her body then I feel someone's hand on my shoulder 'Come (Name). You shall be my daughter..' Cao Cao said serious.. I took his hand and everything went black.

My eyes fluttered open and met with Lu Xun's. I wince and he speaks '(Name), are you alright?' He asked 'N-No.' I say honestly 'Alright hold on.' He picked me up bridal style and carried me out of the kitchen. Everyone was there. How embarrassing..

He sat me in bed and I sighed 'What happened?' He asked and I paused.

Should I tell him?

'I got dizzy..' I say
'You were crying.' He stated
'W-Was I?'

Lying is hard.

'I had a memory..' I said honestly he sat down beside me 'Did you see anything helpful?' He asked and the memories flashed through my head causing me to twitch 'N-No.' I say shaking my head! He nodded and looked up causing me to stare at him.. I took in his features and I grabbed my chest as my heart throbbed..I knew this feeling from somewhere..but yet I can't grab what the feelings called..
