Great, just perfect. All Silas wanted to do was go home in peace after a long night, but they couldn't do that right and now they had to rot in this hellhole people call prison. It seemed like decades since they were sentenced life in prison. The very memory of them being pronounced guilty made them groan in annoyance. All they did was walk to get their pathetic accuse of food. Once they gotten food, they immediately went to an empty spot. They sat down and stared at their food, scoffing a bit. The tray provided a slice of bread and beans... This better not been directed towards Silas. Other than the strangely specific food for the day, it had cold ass chicken soup and milk, charming.

They sighed as they poked at their food and took only small bites of their food. Out of boredom, they started to look around as if they have never been in prison before. Their glance went to the ceiling to someone specific. They narrowed their eyes to see who it was since the person looked familiar, then it clicked. The talk of the whole state himself, Sebastian Solace. He was sentenced to death row weeks ago, not long before Silas' sentence. Silas themselves felt pity on him, they hardly believed that he would commit 9 murder cases, but they reminded themselves that not everyone in prison is innocent. They stared back at their food and kept eating, taking slow munches of the slice of bread.

"Could've at least made it toast or somethin'" Silas grumbled stubbornly, washing it down with the milk provided.

After eating, Silas threw away the food that was left and just kept themselves isolated. They hated everyone there. The inmates were either annoying or piss babies, so most of the time they kept to themselves so there wasn't any sappy emotional bonding between them and the other inmates. And most of the time it worked, everyone ignored them but some... didn't. Some kept bugging Silas and by then they had to find other ways to keep them all away. Whether it be straight up telling them to piss off or threatening them, either way it helped with the bare minimum of human interaction. Silas finally heard the buzzer, signaling that lunch break is over. Once they were about to get up, someone else stood next to them.

"Ms. Jems, you have a visitor. Go to the interrogation room. " The guard said firmly, his gaze upon Silas being cold.

What? A visitor? In the interrogation room?? How the hell? No one has visited Silas except for their mom, even by then it was only once Silas's mom visited. So, who was willing to talk to them? Silas crossed their arms tightly and with a nod, they went to see who it was. However, the guard had a firm grip on their shoulder. Silas tensed up, patient and anxious on what he had to say.

"Be careful for what you wish for" Is all what he said before releasing them. Silas looked back a little and gave a final nod before leaving to the interrogation room. The tone in that guard's voice was intimidating but he seemed worried than anything, as if he knew what was going to come. It left an unsettling feeling in their spine, keeping their guard up. They finally sat down in front left over space which was a desk and another chair.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Jems!" A creepily kind voice called out, making them jump up. Silas looked at the person who was calling out to them.

That "someone" was a doctor. She had her brown hair in a tight low bun and had light brown skin. She had a joyful face while speaking to Silas, weird.

"Uhm, good afternoon" Silas muttered, looking at the suspiciously happy doctor filled with uneasiness.

"Don't worry, you're not in trouble this time!" The Doctor said warmly "I wanted to see you to ask some questions, it won't take long"

Silas looked up in confusion. Questions? That's it? No, impossible. No one would just go out and ask a prisoner question without reason. They squeezed their own hands and had an even more tense expression.
