-two weeks ago-

Ashlyn and you are in your shared room practicing your ballet when you hear a knock at your door before it opens to reveal your dad. "Hey troopers, the bus-" before he can finish Ashlyn trips and falls "ACK" the two of you were silent "ow" you and mike try to hold in your laughs but fail "pffff-"

"Don't." Ashlyn glares at you. "what'd you want?" you look at your dad questionably. "Oh yeah, the bus is down the street"

"Crap we're not ready!" you and Ashlyn yell. "There's coffee on the counter if you want it." After rushing to get ready you both grab your coffee saying goodbye to your mom who's also late and in a hurry. Rushing out the door to the bus stop you grumble "You should have set the alarm sooner" dumbfounded Ashlyn replies. "You could have done it"

You groaned "why do I feel like today isn't going to go well?" Ashlyn sighs, nodding her agreement.

Walking onto the bus you wince at the loudness 'it's probably ten times worse for Ash' Ashlyn exhaled before looking confused at two boys one blond with red eyes the other brunette with light brown eyes. She taps you before pointing them out. "Are they new?" you whispered to her "I think so?" she said questionably. The blonde turns his head in your direction and makes eye contact with you. 'Oh no we made eye contact' you think, averting your gaze. "Crap, our seat is in front of them'' Ashlyn whispers.

The two of you walk to your seat repeating the same thing over in your heads. 'Don't talk to me. Don't talk to me.' you sit down thinking you're in the clear before the blonde puts his head in between the two of you scaring the crap out of you and Ashlyn. "Hi!" you whip your head to him, his red eyes staring into your (E/c) ones before Ash screams and jumps back hitting her head against the window.

You move to check on her silently asking if she's okay and her nodding in response. "Is that your house? What's up with the whole 'bus graveyard' thing?" he asks you. "it's just a junkyard with used buses..." you mumble. 'Personal space dude, give us some!' you and Ashlyn think.

"That's it?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, that's disappointing." he deadpans. You sweatdrop, your eyebrow twitching in irritation." i was hoping for some kind of lore or paranormal jazz." he says sitting back down in his seat. 'Good luck finding anything like that here.' Ashlyn thinks.

'Guess the conversation is over? Please be over.'

"Anyway" the blonde continued.

'So close'

'Damn' you and Ashlyn think in disappointment. "I'm Aiden" he says, back in your space. 'We're not interested!' "And that's my cousin Ben." he points at the tall brunette boy who has his eyes closed. "Is he asleep" you think. "We just moved here a week or so ago from Virginia. Can't remember what town it was though. Oh hey, we live just a house down from you! Since we live so close, we should hang out often."

Ashlyn starts to panic and looks at you a silent conversation happening between the two of you.

'You need to stop this progressing disaster!' -Ashlyn

'Why me!? You do it!' - (Y/n)

Ashlyn gives in with a glare. "Sorry, nothing personal but, we're a bit tired and not in much of a conversation mood." Aiden's quiet for all of 10 seconds before smirking. "It's fine, I get it." 'Yes, finally!' "You guys are just shy right?" 'Huh? Hold on." Aiden crosses both his arms on top of your seat with his head in them. "It's alright, I'm good at talking, so it'll be fine." 'No, we're not shy!' you silently scream.
