The rooftop of the firm offered a breathtaking view of the city skyline, the sun casting a warm, golden glow as it dipped toward the horizon. The atmosphere was serene, yet tension hung in the air as Vardaan and Bhumija stood at the edge, the soft breeze ruffling their hair. It was a moment suspended in time, charged with unspoken emotions.

Vardaan turned to Bhumija, his expression serious. "Bhumi, I need to talk to you about something important."

Bhumija glanced at him, her heart racing. "What's on your mind, Vardaan?"

Taking a deep breath, he locked eyes with her, determination etched on his face. "I've been doing a lot of thinking, and I want to marry you."

Her eyes widened in shock, and she fumbled for words. "M-marriage? Wait, what? You're serious?"

"Completely serious," he affirmed, his gaze steady and unwavering. "I've never felt this way about anyone before."

"But... but we have such different lives!" Bhumija exclaimed, her heart pounding. "I'm still trying to find my footing, and you're, well... you're Vardaan! You're a CFO!"

Stepping closer, Vardaan's voice was firm yet gentle. "Exactly. You challenge me in ways I never expected. You bring light into my life. This isn't just a whim; it's how I truly feel."

Tears brimmed in her eyes as disbelief settled in. "But I—I'm not sure I'm ready for something like this. I can't even keep up with my own career!"

Taking her hands, Vardaan's grip was steady and reassuring. "You don't have to keep up. I want us to grow together. Your passion inspires me. I see a future with you that I can't imagine without."

Bhumija sniffled, caught in a whirlwind of shock and joy. "This is... overwhelming. I never thought you'd want this."

"Just say yes, Bhumi," he urged, his voice softening. "Let's make this official."

Taking a deep breath, Bhumija felt her heart race. "Yes! I'll marry you. I can't believe this!"

As the words left her lips, Vardaan's face lit up with a smile. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a delicate ring, holding it out to her. "And this is for you."

Bhumija's eyes widened as she accepted the ring, her heart soaring. "Oh, I don't have a ring for you!"

Vardaan's heart melted at her sincerity. He chuckled softly, "That's okay; I'll just borrow your heart instead. It's all I really need."

Bhumija laughed through her tears, a beautiful mixture of disbelief and joy. As they stood together on the rooftop, the city lights beginning to twinkle below, they shared a moment filled with promise and hope. In that space, they bridged the gaps between their worlds, leaving Bhumija in a delightful daze, overwhelmed with happiness and the thrilling prospect of a future together.
