"I CAN'T BELIEVE she fell asleep." I say. Elsie, Pedri and I had decided to watch a movie of Elsie's choice. For once she didn't pick Tangled and demanded we watch Harry Potter.

Elsie was sat in between me and Pedri. Her head was leaning on my arm, her eyes shut.

"She's tired from those two minutes of playing football." Pedri joked moving to the side carefully. He picked Elsie's legs up and moved them so she was lying on the sofa. He found a blanket and placed it on top of her. "Want anything to eat or drink?" He asked me.

"Nah i'm good." I say, raking my fingers through Elsie's hair.

"Are you sure? I can make you pasta or something." He says, getting up from the sofa and walking out into the kitchen.

I carefully move Elsie's head of me and move it on the sofa. I kiss her head quickly before following Pedri into the kitchen.

"You don't have to." I say, walking up next to Pedri. He had got out ingredients to make everything and was now reading something on the back. He looked up and over to me when I walked up next to him.

"You haven't eaten since you got here which was four hours ago. You're surely hungry." He says, setting down what he was reading. He turned to me giving me a smile. "Are you sure you don't want anything to drink?"

"I'll just have water." I mumbled. He nods and grabs a glass out of the cupboard. He swiftly fills it up with water and hands it to me. "Thanks."

"You're welcome. You can sit with Elsie if you want, it won't take long." Pedri says, going back to making the pasta.

I sat down on one of the stools by the island. "I'll stay here. Don't want to disturb Elsie." I say, taking my phone out from my pocket and scrolling through it.

"Okay." Pedri replied.

After about 20-30 minutes, Pedri had finished the pasta. He put the plate in front of me and sat down beside me. He handed me a fork. I took it from him and smiled.

"Thanks." I say, using my fork to get a piece of pasta.

"Of course." He said, using his own fork to get some of the pasta from the plate.

Footsteps were heard down the corridor. I turned my head to the doorway and Elsie walked in you.

"You okay, corazón?" I ask.

"Mami, i'm hungry." She said, walking up to the stool. I leaned down to pick her up. I sat her down on my lap.

"You want some pasta?" I ask her. She nods her head. I take the fork and get a piece of pasta on it. I move it towards her mouth but her hands move up to take the piece of pasta off the fork. "Don't use your hands Els."

"But you let me when we're at home." She says, folding her arms over her chest.

"We're not at home, bebé." I say, placing the fork down. I gently turn her around in my lap so she's facing me.

"I wanna go home." She says, not looking at me.

"We're can't yet, amor." I say softly, "Our plane won't be ready to go for another few days."
