Two months had passed since Wang Jumin and Rachel first met. They met every day to learn about each other, to explore the surroundings together during leisure time. However, Wang Jumin's working day was very difficult, it started in the morning and ended in the evening, and the seventh day was not a rest day, but usually an opportunity to catch up with the construction delay. But, because the joy of reunions was so powerful, they could always find a way to meet successfully. Wang Jumin discovered the beauty and wisdom of Rachel, who discovered his kindness and generosity.

One night, they decided to go to a small restaurant in a nearby city for dinner. They sat at a table on the terrace. Holding Rachel's hand, Wang Jumin looked into her eyes and said softly: "Rachel, I've been thinking about you since I met you. You're the only reason I get up and breathe every morning".

Rachel smiled and replied: "Jumin, I feel the same way about you. You changed my life and make every day more special". She stood up, gently hugged him and felt her heart in line with his heartbeat. They knew their love was impossible, but they didn't want to ignore it. They wanted to fight for their happiness, whatever happened.

A week later, Wang Jumin and Rachel spent the afternoon under a coconut tree, enjoying the shade. They sat, laughing at all sorts of topics. Suddenly, a big black insect came over, and it had something like a big horn on its nose, and surprised both Wang Jumin and Rachel. Wang Jumin shouted, retreating and Rachel made a small noise. Wang Jumin rose straight, looking around and looking for a wooden stick to eliminate the insect. He said: "I hate these beetles. We have a lot of them in the camp. I think they're ugly and horrible!". He picked up a stick next to them and raised it to protect themselves. Rachel laughed "Jumin, you don't have to kill this beetle", and gently placed the insect on the ground near them. Rachel smiled and put her head on Wang Jumin's shoulder. She said: "Jumin, you are so funny! That's the reason why I love you so much, my little jade beetle". Wang Jumin smiled and said "I prefer to call you my little baobei, which means precious shell in Chinese". They kept laughing and talking under the coconut trees, enjoying the time before Wang Jumin had to leave forever.

Wang Jumin and Rachel kept on meeting secretly, using every moment they had together. They explored hidden places in the island and wanted specially to find stunning landscapes. After a walk of an hour and a half, they finally reached the waterfall he had heard so much about. The light was magical over there: water fell in a cascade from a vertiginous cliff, creating a deafening noise and producing a rainbow in the sun. The lovers remained amazed by this wonder of nature, holding hands and Wang Jumin had an idea: he took his camera and asked Rachel to pose on a rock near the waterfall. She agreed with joy and took the pose, smiling and happy. The young man took several shots, capturing this magical moment. But the rock on which Wang Jumin was sitting was actually very slippery. Suddenly, he slipped and fell into the water with a big splash! Rachel couldn't help but laugh too and she also fell into the water trying to catch him. They both found themselves soaked, but amused by this unexpected situation. They continued to laugh out loud under the waterfall, enjoying this unique and unusual moment. It was an unforgettable moment for the two lovers, which would remain engraved in their memory forever.

Construction of the road was progressing rapidly and Wang Jumin knew he was about to leave. What a pity! They realized that time together was limited. Wang Jumin wanted to take Rachel to China, but he knew in his heart that it was impossible. His life was in China, and Rachel lived on Mallicolo island.

She felt the same despair, and cherished every moment with Wang Jumin. But she was also reluctant to abandon her tribe and its traditions. She was embarrassed by the dilemma between her love and her responsibility to the tribe. One day, Wang Jumin decided to talk to Rachel about the impending departure. Consciousness was to let her know how much he loved her and how difficult it was to leave her. Rachel cried and begged him to stay.

Wang Jumin and Rachel spent their last night on the island watching the stars and kissing tenderly. They promised never to forget each other, and to keep this memory in mind forever. Then, at sunrise, Wang Jumin finally left Mallicolo and Rachel.

For the past few months, Wang Jumin's memory had been in Rachel's mind. He returned to the grey skies of Chinese cities and worked hard to escape the pain. There, nature was industry, and the noise of cars replaced the sound of birds. And the Pacific Ocean's waves became a new great wall, forever separating him from his loved one. The pain was as strong as memory. He knew that he would never forget her.

Rachel continued to work to protect her tribal traditions, but she couldn't forget Wang Jumin as well.

Their love will stay in their hearts forever.
