The House In The Woods

chapter 5

That Wednesday Morning

I woke up at 6:00 am on October 2nd to my husband's alarm going off, i move to wake him up but he was not there

"Mmmm my love where are you"I said sitting up yawning as i turn off the alarm getting no response i start to worry a bit but then i hear the shower turned off in our bathroom and I calmed down knowing that he was just taking a shower

I swung my legs over the side of the bed then I stood up and walked over to the bathroom door and opened it then walked in to use the bathroom as my husband was  in a towel combing his hair

"Good morning baby" he said as he sits the comb down on the sink and he walks to the bathroom door and opens it then walks out

"Good morning my love" I say as I get up and walk to the sink to wash my hands as he does that then walks to the bathroom door turned off the light and walks out

Heading to the bedroom door, opening it and walking out into the hallway and into the kitchen, opened the fridge and grabbed a bowl and placed it on the counter then grabbed a lunchbox and put the bowl in it zipping it up

Heading back to the room seeing my husband walking out of the closet dressed for work, I Head over to the bed and sat down as he moved to the bedside table to grab his phone then he turns to me and kisses me

"I love you baby" he said as he breaks the kiss smiling at me with love in his eyes

"I love you more my love" I said smiling to him with love in my eyes standing up giving him a hug, after a few minutes

"I got to go baby" he said breaking the hug then moving to the bedroom door heading into the hallway and headed to the front door grabbing his keys

"Have a good day my love" I said sitting back onto the bed grabbing my phone to check my messages and emails

"I will, darling. I'll be thinking of you all day," he replied as he left for work with his lunch, after i checked my messages and emails

I headed to the bedroom door and walked into the hallway then into the kitchen and started making coffee, After the coffee was done I took it to the bedroom and sat it on the bedside table

I got up on the bed and turned on the TV to one of my favorite YouTubers new video After finishing the coffee and the video I remembered the day I had yesterday and I thought I would just stay in today and do some house cleaning and probably meet up with my best friend for lunch

I got up from the bed and grabbed my phone and mug and went to the bedroom door opening it and heading out into the hallway making my way to the kitchen then placed the mug in the sink

I grabbed my phone and unlocked it and put on music and then i grabbed the cleaning supplies and started sweeping the floors and after I was done sweeping I grabbed the mop and bucket and started mopping the floors

After I did that I put the mop, bucket, and broom back and grabbed the sponge and dish soap and started cleaning the dishes and the counters then when I was done I put the supplies back and went to the fridge to grab the juice and then went to the cabinet to grab a cup

I made myself a drink and put back the juice in the fridge then I decided to dance with the music making up scenes to go along with the music

Taking a break from dance I went into the bedroom and headed into the bathroom to use the restroom once again after using it i was washing my hands and turned to leave and saw that I had a big bruise though I didn't know where it came from

I heard whispers and just thought it was the music so I brushed it off and headed out of the bathroom into the bedroom and left the bedroom to go back to the kitchen

the whispers still lingered in the back of my mind but I couldn't help but get caught up in the infectious energy so I continued to dance with the music forgetting all about the whispers and then a blaring alarm

I got scared from the alarm and jumped and felt getting up and moved to the alarm and turned it off
