"Tera accident uss ladki ke wajah se hua na?" Abhimanyu asked, pulling back.Neil flashed back to memories of Ruhi's neglect and Aarohi's pain. He felt bitter toward his brother but hid it.
"Why isn't she good for me, bhai?" Neil asked calmly. "And don't give me reasons like she's bad, selfish, etc. I know her well, more than you could ever. I know she's short-tempered, immature, and insecure, but she's not bad, bhai."
Neil's voice grew resolute. "And I love her; I love her more than anything, more than my life."
--------------------------------------------------------------Here's the continuation:
Abhimanyu's expression changed from relief to shock, his eyes narrowing. "Neil, what are you saying?" he asked, his voice laced with disapproval.
Neil's grip on Abhimanyu's arm tightened. "I mean it, bhai. I love her, and I want to be with her."
Abhimanyu's face darkened. "You can't be serious, Neil. She's not good for you. She's—"
"I know what you think, bhai," Neil interrupted, his voice firm. "But you don't understand her. She's not just any girl. She's Aarohi, and I love her."
Abhimanyu's jaw clenched. "Fine. You want to know why I don't like her? It's because she's selfish, Neil. She only thinks about herself, not about our family or you."
Neil's eyes flashed with defensiveness. "That's not true, bhai. You don't know her like I do."
Abhimanyu sighed, frustration etched on his face. "Neil, listen to me. I'm trying to protect you. You deserve someone better, someone who truly cares for you."
Neil's resolve strengthened. "I don't want someone better, bhai. I want Aarohi. And I'll do whatever it takes to make this work."
Abhimanyu's expression softened, concern replacing anger. "Neil, did you forget she had blamed Akshu from childhood for Sirat mom's death? She's a selfish, spoiled brat and money-minded. She tried to give exams by giving money. Hell, she tried to marry me despite knowing Akshu and I love each other. Now she's using you to come into the Birla family."
As Abhimanyu spoke, every word fueled his growing hatred for Aarohi.
Neil clenched his fist, his eyes flashing with anger. "For God's sake, bhai, stop it!" he snapped at Abhimanyu.
For the first time, Abhimanyu was surprised and a bit hurt.
"Bhai, Aarohi was just 9 or 10 at that time," Neil said firmly. "How can you even expect a child to understand that her mother's death was an accident when it happened right before her eyes? And about giving exams by donation, so bhai, she just tried, didn't give it, and she didn't give money to buy dignity."
"And about marrying you," Neil continued, "I know she was at fault, but you and Akshu bhabhi were also at fault. You used her to get Akshu bhabhi."
Abhimanyu's face fell, his eyes widening in shock.
"And Akshu bhabhi," Neil pressed on, "she thought Aarohi wasn't good for you because she's so damn ambitious, but this thought never crossed her mind that you're not good for her sister. She knew you were using Aarohi to get her, but she didn't stopped that marriage for that. Why?" I mean she loves her sister then why she was letting her marry a person who loves her sister and was using her?"
