JAY'S POV
Next day, I wake up early-well, I can't really say I slept at all. The excitement kept me wide awake through the night.
As soon as I'm ready, I make my way to the car, trying to play it cool, but the excitement is hard to hide. I jump into the car with a grin, hugging Harsh and giving him an air kiss. He looks at me, completely done with my energy this early.
We reach the set, and after the usual makeup routine, I step outside. The weather is perfect today, and we're shooting in a dandelion field that stretches out like a dream.
I pick up one of the dandelions, blow it gently, and then she appears. Everything slows down, just like one of those movie moments.

She's walking toward me in a lavender dress, her makeup minimal yet flawless. There's something about the way she carries herself-professional, focused, as if she's been doing acting her whole life. Her eyes are on her script, completely immersed. I can't help but notice how beautiful she is, the kind of beauty that pulls you in without even trying.
I don't even realize she's standing right in front of me, talking, but the violins in my heart are so loud I can't hear her. I just stand there, completely lost.
She smirks, "Look at you... You look like you're about to faint. Too mesmerized by my beauty?" Her teasing tone snaps me out of my daze.
I clear my throat, trying to compose myself. "I mean, yeah, you do look mesmerizing," I admit, "but I'm glad you're still the same on the inside... still teasing me like always." I give a small smile, relieved that some things never change.
"Okay... Jay, Aditi, for this shot, you have to walk together. Aditi, you'll look at the field, enjoying the view. Jay, you'll look at her, completely in love because she's wearing your favorite perfume. Got it?" the director says.
"Yes, sir!" she replies, giving him a playful two-finger salute. I nod silently.
She holds my arm, and I freeze-completely freeze. My body locks up, and I can't move a muscle.
"Alright, walk... action!" the director calls out.
But I just stand there, rooted in place.
"Cut!" The director sighs, clearly frustrated. "Jay, think that you're in love with her. Feel it."
Think? I'm in love with her! I scold him in my mind, but I just nod again, trying to pull myself together.
"Action!" the director calls out once more.
I manage to move this time, walking beside her. She gazes out at the field, her lashes softly flickering as her eyes soak in the view. A small smile forms on her lips, dimples deepening in her cheeks, and I'm utterly captivated. She holds my arm, and for a moment, it feels like I've stepped into the perfect dream-like everything is in sync.
"Cut!" the director yells, bringing me back. "That was great, Jay, Aditi. Well done."
As soon as she lets go of my arm, the spell breaks. I blink, snapping back to reality, almost dizzy from how real it all felt.
