{CHAPTER 21 : NAIVE }

AUTHOR'S POV:

"But I want my answers."

Jungkook sighed, throwing the cigarette over the balcony railing. He turned back to Taehyung, his expression serious.

"First tell me who put that shit in your head ?" Jungkook asked.

"Ju-won hyung..." Taehyung said .

Jungkook's face darkened and scoffed "Of course. It had to be him." He muttered, running a hand through his hair.

Brunette frowned , listening to Jungkook.

"Tae, listen to me. What he told you, it's not true."

"He is not even my real brother. That bastard is a product of my father's infidelity. " Jungkook said.

Taehyung's eyes widened. "What?" He stuttered.

" ......when my father joined the company as a CEO , there was a big party for him , my grandfather had two sons . My father became the one leading the company. So my uncle got envious of him. That night at the party he paid a woman to sleep with my father. They spiked my father's drink. Their plan got succeeded . But my grandfather knew that my father won't do such acts. So after some time they got to know that my uncle was the one who wanted to snatch my father's position...."

"My grandfather sent him abroad and my Father cut off all his ties with him and his family. After 1 year my father got married to my mother. They fell in love and had me after 3 years ,everything was so perfect I had the best parents. We were so happy together. ....but after 5 years the same woman returned with a boy . she told us, that my dad is the father of the child.. My dad couldn't do something else rather than giving him space in the family too. Of course he did the DNA tests but all the results were positive..."

" My mother was deeply hurt ,My father told her everything, she felt cheated, she broke down. "

" That woman left after leaving her son to us . My parents got into a huge fight .Though my parents knew it wasn't my father's mistake because he didn't know that he impregnated her because at that time the woman flew away."

" Then me and my mother left dad and went to Jeju , we had a cottage house there. I spent 4 years there with my mother alone."

" Meanwhile my father raised Ju-won as his own son. He told him everything about us and our family."

" Dad begged mom for forgiveness all the time. At last she forgives him and then we come back to him. Everything started sitting in the right place. My mother bound the family, she loved him too like me ....

"..but how can life be so perfect right? *Scoff* ........

"After 2 years she was d-digonsed with blood cancer ."

" My father was devastated. He tried everything to save her, but nothing worked. He was by her side till the end, holding her hand and crying. After she passed away, he became a shell of his former self. He stopped caring about anything or anyone, including me and Ju-won."

" Then I started hating my father and Ju-won . I hated them as he left me alone for all those years where I crave for my father's love too."

" My hatred grew more and more resentful, towards Ju-won and my father."

" But inside I knew that my father wasn't the one at fault. But I couldn't gather the courage to behave like a normal son."

"One day, I overheard my father talking to himself in his study. He was saying how sorry he was for everything that had happened, and how he wished he could take it all back. That's when I realized that he was just as unhappy as I was."
