I straighten the black dress I'm wearing for the dinner Archer forced me to go to. I don't know who Luca is, the guy Archer said would come along, but Archer promised me some answers with him there so I'll just go to get clarity.

"You haven't said much about this morning." Sophia appears behind me in the bathroom, she puts her makeup purse down and starts getting ready. Her hair is wrapped in rollers and her makeup is halfway done. "I was just doing my makeup when I realized that all you said was that the sunrise was gorgeous."

"Not everything is relevant," I tell her. I feel bad about this morning, almost as if it's a mistake.

"And I'm your best friend so why won't you tell me?"

"Fine," I say. Then I start telling her about everything that happened, about everything that he said, including the ghost of a kiss that happened. I mention it as if it's nothing, but when I glance in Sophia's direction, she's frozen in place. Her eyes are directly at me through the mirror.

"Say that part again-" she demands. "I can't believe you hid that from me all day! Say it again!"

"He said we kissed, so I ordered him to show me how because I wanted to figure out how and know everything that happened, so he did-"

"You kissed!" She yells.

"It was barely even a kiss, it was just a-" I make a peck-sound and then turn to her. "I swear, if any guy did that to you, you wouldn't even mention it to me."

"Yeah, but any guy isn't a husband you didn't know about for years and are now trying to divorce," Sophia says. I know she's right, but I'm trying not to make this situation bigger than it is.

"This dinner is with some guy Luca, Archer said I'd get more answers then." I lean forward and then apply a layer of mascara to my lashes. With that, I finish my makeup and I back off from the mirror.

"And you googled that Luca guy?" Sophia asks. She's nowhere near finished, but she does grab her phone to Google Luca. "Last name?"

"I don't know, Archer didn't say." I answer her, she taps the screen and scrolls a little. Then she turns the screen, revealing a picture of Archer with a mistery man. The mistery man isn't taller than Archer, his hair is dark and curly and his smile is bright. Where Archer looks like he's selling a smile, Luca looks genuine.

"Is that him?" Sophia asks.

I shrug and look at her. "I don't know who he is, I've never seen Luca or heard of him until this morning," I repeat my words. We might get into the car and it'll be a completely different person.

Both Sophia and I finish my makeup when the phone rings. I hurry towards it and answer it. "This is Bobby speaking," I answer.

"Mister Graff is ready for you downstairs with Mister Deveraux." The female voice says. I thank her politely and then hang up the phone. Sophia walks out the bathroom, fixing up her earrings and then she flips her hair so that it falls perfectly.

She's always been the pretty one of us two. She's flirtier and funnier too. I've never been jealous of her, but I can point out facts.

"Ready?" I ask her. Sophia nods and then grabs her purse. "You look fantastic by the way," I compliment her. The comment earns me a smile.

The two of us make our way down to the ground floor. The elevator doors open and I immediately spot Archer with his friend. Sophia stays behind me as the two of us make our way to the two men.

"Hey," Archer says, he smiles politely and then steps aside so that now his friend Luca comes into view. It's the guy from the photo Sophia showed me earlier. I smile wide at the guy and hold out my hand.
