"I can see why you picked her." Luca says. I look at him, then roll my eyes.

After Sophia and Bobby left, I stayed with him a little longer for a drink. It's not like I expected the girls to pay for dinner anyways, so it's fine that they left early.

"It wasn't exactly like that and you know it," I tell him. "But thanks for being here today, I'm trying to keep her away from Faye Alden."

Luca snorts. "Didn't think she was still around. What does she want?" He nervously taps on the table with his finger. "Well we both know what she wants." Luca whispers the second part. He looks up at me and stops tapping with his finger.

It's true, I do know what Faye wants. Faye wants Bobby out of the way so that I'm available. As if me marrying someone on the day I'm 'promised' to her wasn't enough of a sign that I'm not available in her.

"That's why I'm trying to keep them away from each other," I answer. Luca understands that, he knows exactly why. But I can't ask him for any more help, and I can't control Bobby and Sophia everywhere they go. Even though I wish to. I really wish I could so badly.

"Well that's going well," he says, staring down at his phone screen.

"What are you talking about?"

Luca turns his phone to me. The screen is dark, but the flashes of light show just enough of Bobby that I recognize her dancing. She's still wearing the dress she wore earlier. Her hair is up in a ponytail and she's wearing earrings. Sophia's right behind her, and it's obvious that Faye is blocking Sophia from joining their circle.

I recognize some people around them to be some of Faye's friends. They're not paying much attention to Bobby though, but it's obvious that the girl is swimming with sharks are out for blood.

"What was your plan?" Luca asks. In all honesty, I didn't have one. I just hoped that I could spend enough time with her to keep Faye out, but I might have to try harder. The question is rhethorical though, he wasn't asking for

I pay for dinner and drinks, then me and Luca go out to the car to get home. Usually me and Luca drive together and my driver brings him home first and then me.

"You really have to try harder though." Luca's typing on his phone as he says it, Even though he's not paying any attention to me, I know exactly what he's talking about.

"Faye's just a a roach who's always everywhere," I mumble under my breath. I don't want to be too loud. If I talk about her too much, I'm allowing her to get under my skin, and that's not what I want at all. If I don't talk about her, she's not there.

"And you're allowing her to be," Luca says in return.

"So I should just kill her?" I laugh at the thought. I'd go to jail for killing her in a heartbeat if it meant not having her around anymore. I'm actually contemplating asking my driver to drop me off at the club she's at and killing her. I don't go anywhere without my gun anyway.

"You'll figure it out," Luca says. "You always do."

The driver drops Luca off at the apartment and then we turn back to go back home. I appreciate all my employees and I know most by name, but sometimes the agency I hire from changes my drivers or maids and then I don't know who I'm dealing with anymore. I always try to pay good attention to them and make sure that each one of them gets a personal compliment from me.

"Just home sir?" The older man asks. He glances at me through his rearview window. His voice sounds like he's smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for the past 20 years.

"Can you stop by that new club on Lakeshore please?" I ask, looking back at the man. He nods. "Oh, and what's your name? I've seen you drive me around a few times, but I haven't gotten the pleasure yet."
