The Slaystern College was the only college that delivered worthy education and scholarships in Sydney. I was too young when I lost my parents, and since then, I had been living alone with my little sister in a small house a bit far from the town. I worked hard to get into the famous University of Slaystern, where I could only get in by scholarships, as this university was not just famous but very expensive. I used to wonder what special and extraordinary things happened there that justified such high fees. I was Ava Brown, just in my teens. It wasn't long ago when I received an email saying that I had been accepted into the University of Slaystern. To be honest, that was the happiest moment since my parents had passed away. I didn't know how my journey to Slaystern would be. Tomorrow was going to be a very big day.

"Hey Ariel, get ready for school. It's already 7 AM," I said.

Ariel had always been lazy with her work. "Will you stop it? I am big enough to do what is right for me. You always try to meddle in my things," she retorted.

As she said this, I was totally annoyed.

"Watch your words," I said, trying to control my frustration. "Why should I? Who told you that you could enter my room without my permission?"

"So are you saying what you did was right?" I questioned annoyingly.

The pictures, those dirty videos she was watching on the internet, and that was only yesterday I had found out about those, and she was getting mad at me?

"Okay, then I am leaving. You better go to school today," I said, calming myself down.

"Whatever, I will continue what I was doing," she shouted.

I knew that right now there was no solution to this problem. I had to go to my college.

I continued walking through the streets until I reached the main road. I took the taxi that was coming and told the driver to take me to Slaystern University. I reached the university. I had viewed this university from outside, but as I walked on the grounds, I was mesmerized by the work done to build this university. It was a vintage-type building.

The work on every single pillar must have taken months as every piece of this building was detailed. I reached the entrance and walked through the huge hall. I knew that I had to go to the reception area for the other details and information I needed, but I couldn't see the reception area anywhere.

Usually, it's at the entrance, but I didn't think I was blind. So, I knew I had to ask someone where the reception was. I headed towards a girl with long black hair. I couldn't see her face because she was standing by the wall.

"Excuse me, sorry, but I am new to this university and I cannot find the reception. Will you please help me?" I said. The girl turned before I could complete my speech. "Sure, you need to go straight and take a right. You'll find it." "Thanks." I thanked her and made my way to the reception.
