11. breathless technique

Ragini squeezed her both the hands when Sanskar sat straight in front of her. He was smiling. But she can understand the sarcasm.
When dhruv was seated next to her and other side it was Samar.
Arshi literally escaped hiding from Sanskar as she realised the surrounding.

Samar mutters:why would he want to sit instead the stage set there?
Ragini passed him a look.
First of all she shouldn't have come along with Samar.
Dhruv:why no one is speaking? Well seeing you all I think I should initiate. Between Ragini you are anyway pretty but I must admit white suits you.
Ragini gulped out of nervousness as she looked at Sanskar who just shifted his gaze from her to Dhruv.
She was wearing a white ankle length A-line gown.
Ragini:ah.. no actually I don't think so..
Dhruv: with the open hair you look gorgeous.
Ragini:but I am sweating...
She just wanted to tie her hair now. She literally clutched her hair to tie but forgot the get a clip or hair tie with her. She she just literally kept her hair open.
She just looked at Sanskar. As he sipped coffee. Yup, he was jealous. Somewhat it made Ragini scared.
Ragini:I don't think this as well since I was in hurry I happened to....
Sanskar:he is right...
Dhruv:I cannot be wrong.
Sanskar:okay..
Dhruv:well Ragini... How about we meet frequently...
Sanskar:I think she is in the project which is to be launched. I don't think she would be free anytime sooner, though the project is completed.
Ragini:oh.. excuse me I think Arshi needs some help..
She just escapes. Sanskar just laughs which did not go unnoticed by Samar.

Samar:Sir. Did you laugh?
Sanskar left out a breath with smile and sips coffee:where did you get this coffee.. it's amazing.
Dhruv:Hey.. Samar can you share Ragini's number.
Samar:why not....
He suddenly remembers Sanskar is right next to him. He can't get the volcano out of him now.
Samar:uh.. I forgot I don't have her number.
Sanskar bites his lower lip controlling his laughter.

Later...

Trio..,Ragini,Samar and Arshi were having dinner.
Arshi:it was just like playing with the fire.
Samar:look who is saying this. From the very beginning you escaped. It was me who had a war with fire.
Ragini just sips water and checks her phone.
She sent a text regarding arshi planned it where she was not aware of the blind date stuff...
But he actually did not see the text.
Could that be he would be angry?
But yup, he could have understood the situation. There is no chance of anger. But what if he is upset?

That's when a waiter placed a 3 glasses of milkshakes.
Trio looks confused of as they didn't order.
That's when someone pulled the chair. It was Sahaj.
Trio looks on.
Ragini face-palms.
Sahaj:it was from me guys...
He noticed Ragini and smiles:seems Ragini is disappointed by my presence.
Ragini stretch her lips:nothing like that sir...
The dinner went for silence for 15 more minutes.. sahaj tried to speak but they weren't interested on his talks. Obviously!

Sahaj:why are you not taking the milk shakes.
Ragini:I have throat irritation. Between I am taking my leave.
She stood and this gets a chance for Arshi and Samar.
They too stood.
Sahaj:do I make you guys uncomfortable?
Arshi mutters:do that need to be asked?
Ragini:well good bye...
She was about to go.
Sahaj:Ragini... By the way white suits you.
She huffs and moves.
Sahaj sips the milkshake:I know you are dying to be with me. Playing hard to get no problem I will make you come to me by yourself. That's how you will be my girlfriend in 7 days!!!!

Ragini rings the bell waiting for the door to open.
Sanskar opens the door he was surprised.
Finding Ragini, she was wearing saree and and he knows she was ready for the office party.
Ragini:are you upset yet...?
He for a moment gets confused. Upset about what?
Ragini:you didn't reply to my texts.
Sanskar smiles:is it for your yesterday's date?
Ragini complaining:it wasn't a date. I wasn't aware of it. I explained it to you with text. You didn't even see it.
He who was holding his phone turns towards her revealing about the broken display.
Sanskar:I was busy with colleagues you knew that and accidentally (pointing to phone) this happened and it was already late and I did not have any spare phone with me as well.
Ragini:oh....
He looks at her for moment and smiles:you seriously thought I was upset.
Ragini:ah... No actually..
He pointing his finger at her with a smile:you really thought about me like that? Very disappointing Ragini. I did not expect this from you.
She was embarassed now. She shouldn't have come here. From where did she get the courage to directly walk into his doorsteps?
Sanskar:come inside...
He directs her to enter inside before him.
That's when she waved her both hands in no:No no... I am late already.
He looks at the watch:not too late. Since it's a party today. Any way program will commence at 11.
Ragini:I have to stop at some place.
Sanskar smiles realising that she want to escape now: it's I am leaving 5 minutes. I will drop you.
Ragini: It's a troublesome.. I will meet you at office.
She just literally walked towards the lift.
Presses the button.
Sanskar:Ragini... Tum mujhse bhaag Rahi ho?
She just close her eyes in embarassment.
She slowly turns looking at him:aisa nahi hai... Mein... Mein thodi jaldi mein thi...
Sanskar smiles and nods.
She enters inside the lift: bye..
Sanskar pressed the lift but for few seconds resisting it from closing doors.
Sanskar:by the way you look different today.
Ragini:different?
Sanskar:I mean gorgeous enough to make my day!!!
She literally forgot to breath.
Sanskar:I may not be able to take off my eyes from in today's party.
She is going statue.
Sanskar:bye!!!
She smiles. She was still holding her breath.
Once the door closes she left out her breath.
Ragini:why did I stop breathing?

Later...

Ragini was picking up dessert.
Sanskar stood next to her acting to be watching over the dessert counter.
Sanskar:did you stop by that some place?
She turns to him:uh.. umm yeah.
She lied.
He left out a laugh. Seeing him laugh she too laughs as she realised he understood her lies very clearly.
Sanskar:you can express it. I won't mind.
She did not reply.

Sahaj was standing behind them.
He looks on.

Ragini:try this mousse it's very tasty.
While he takes a spoonful from her cup.
She looks on and looks around. She literally ignored sahaj except him there was none. Actually sahaj's presence were like some tree she didn't realise him as a person in her panic mode.
Sanskar: it's very tasty.
Ragini:someone will see us..
He took 2 steps back:okay Ms.Ragini enjoy the party.
She smiles
Sanskar: I don't think so I would be hiding our relationship for long. I can't. But If situation arrives then I would be introducing you to Reena mam today.
Ragini:but...
He shrugs his shoulder interrupting her : let people know you are mine.
She again forgot to breath.
He inhales and exhales:you should do this...
He laughs a bit
Ragini:you noticed that.
Sanskar:I'll move or else our colleagues will know now itself!!!
He moves while she blushed and looked at the mousse and looks at the way Sanskar went. As he met with someone and engrossed in some discussion: he surely knows his ways to make me go breathless.
She huffs and smiles and turns to move. She spots Sahaj. Who until now a tree in her subconscious mind.
Her face turned sour but she just now intentionally considered him as a tree and walked away..
