Aki's journey began with a direct order from Lucifer Morningstar himself: to travel to the Mortal realm and protect Lucifer's son. Tasked with ensuring the boy's survival and his growth into the next ruler of Hell, Aki quickly discovered an underlying threat-the demon Lilith's hidden plan to kill the boy if he failed to gather enough souls for the demon army. Although his orders were clear and unyielding, Aki felt a rare, subtle affection for the child, an emotion unbecoming of a primordial demon. It was a sentiment he never displayed, yet it grew stronger as time passed, much like his silent connection with Ren, a fellow primordial who shared his burden. Ren was loyal and conflicted, bound by the same orders to eliminate the child if he showed weakness, but he also harbored unspoken love for Aki, creating a bond between the two that neither could fully articulate.

Determined to prevent Ren from having to bear the weight of killing the child, Aki began searching for a way to fake the boy's death, should it come to that. It was during this quest that Toffee, another primordial known in Hell as Mavi, came into possession of a peculiar rose. Though tethered to the Mortal realm, its powers were unlike anything seen in Heaven or Hell. The rose, later named the Eternal Rose, presented a rare opportunity-an anomaly with the potential to circumvent Lilith's deadly scheme.

Seeing the rose as a key to unlocking a solution that could spare the child, Aki immersed himself in studying its nature. The rose's power resonated with him, as it seemed to embody a realm beyond dualities like creation and destruction, where knowledge itself could alter the fabric of reality.
