"Saraaa."
"What? Why are you shouting since the time you are back from practice?"
She asked at his constant shouting, agitated. While a goofy smile graced his lips and he shook his head in no making her narrow her eyes more,if possible.
"You do know that I am on my periods and you are literally irritating me to the core. I will kick you Shubman Gill."
He gulped when she took his full name, not everyday your sweet wife takes your full name. He immediately closed his mouth and she smiled in victory.
"Now say what do you want."
"I found this file in our closet and it's in your name, The Beautiful Name. As far as I know this is a therapy centre."
He said softly afraid he would press some wrong points which might trigger her. Her smile immediately faltered and she snatched the file from his hands.
She was about to dash out but he held her on time and hugged her from the back.
"I do know that this is personal and you might not be comfortable sharing it with me. I won't force you baby, but you should always know that I am always here. Hmm?"
Realisation suddenly dawned upon her and she turned around hugging him properly. He smiled and hugged her tight.
She came out of his embrace and looked in his eyes which held nothing but pure love, not the sympathy or pity she had always gotten from her parents or whomever she shared about her therapy with.
"I am sorry, I was just..just scared you might pity me but then I realised you will do anything except that. I will tell you but let me first complete the work."
He nodded his head and kissed her forehead he left her while she smiled and continued doing her work. Shubman went to their room and sat down on the bed scrolling through his phone.
Almost an hour later he felt some weight on his body and he immediately held her to make her stable.
"You do know you will fall one day if you crawl on my body without letting me know."
"Nahh, I know you won't let me fall."
He smiled at her words and kept quiet, not knowing how to reciprocate about her trust in him. She moved more up and kissed his neck giggling.
"I soo loved it when you blush."
"I was not blushing."
"Ohh you definitely were Mr Gill. Just imagine Ishan watching you blush, I bet he would post on social media."
He laughed knowing how crazy his friend was and he could actually do that. She silently laid her head on his chest and he rubbed her back with one hand while his other played with her fingers.
"I had many friends in my school years but my bestfriend or so I thought were Meera and Sharvari. Our trip was the cool one yk..we used to have so much fun. Until in 9th my parents started having some issues in their married life. I was devastated looking at them at each other's throat every day. In their disputes they had forgotten that they had a 15 year old daughter who was desperately waiting for her parents support. Even if I used to top the class I had no one to share it with. I thought Meera and Sharvari would support me but all they did was mock me for my parents behaviour and body shame me as I gained a lot of weight due to stress. All they could do was bring my self esteem down taunting me at every possible thing. And I, like a fucking mute animal couldn't utter a single word in front of them cause they were not wrong. I tried saving our friendship till 12th but later I started having weird thoughts, neither I had my parents to share it with me nor I had my friends. So I started taking therapy, which helped me to a great extent but later somehow those two got to know about this too and they made fun of me in front of the whole class, they used to say it's a joke but they never knew that joke was eating me from inside. The whole class used to look at me with pity, and that was the last string to my patience. I broke everything with both of them and concentrated on my studies and got the medical seat. I stopped the therapy once I got out of that city since there was no more stress. I don't know what happened with them or how my parents sorted out everything and decided to shift to Mumbai for a better future of mine. I never asked them nor did they tell me. I never for once went home in those 5 and a half years of my medical. Later my parents too got to know that I used to take therapy and instead of being proud of me they looked at me with pity but by then I was strong enough to handle myself and I did."
She looked up at him keeping her chin on his heart and saw what she craved for all these years. He was proud, and did not have an ounce of pity in his eyes.
"I am soo proud of you, and this is not just for name sake I am really proud. You make me feel like the luckiest husband of a girl who fought her own demons and stood out so strong."
"You are too sweet Shubman."
"No baby, people think it's normal for children to have parents who fight all the time but they never know the struggle we go through while looking at them fighting, it's not a small issue and I am soo glad you overcame it."
He kissed the curve of her nose and she smiled kissing his cheek.
"And later even if I had overcome everything I had no courage to make any friends, those two have broken my courage to have trust in any friend. Even though I had some common friends, I never dared to make any best friend."
"I am your best friend, ain't I?"
"Ofcourse hubby, you are my bestest friend with whom I share my life, my most precious moments and also my deepest griefs."
Sara giggled and kissed him while Shubman held her waist to support her. He was glad he could be her friend, and she was delighted she got one after years of struggle.
He broke the kiss and pushed her down hovering over her and kissed her again. Sara snaked her hands around his neck and his hand slipped in her night shirt.
He caressed her bare, soft skin and she moaned in his mouth giving him access to her insides. His hands grazed her naked mounds and he kneaded them in his fingers while softly pinching her nipples.
As Shubman broke the kiss their heavy make out stopped and they both panted to make their breathing normal.
Shubman laid his head on her chest and she ruffled his hair. It was a peaceful moment after days of struggle and fights and they wanted to make the best use of it.
"I have an ad shoot tomorrow. Will you come with me?"
"Of course, why not."
"Thank you, also we will go for an interview after that. I think it's like a Q n A session."
"Sure baby, I will be glad to watch you on screen. Real life mai tumhari acting dekh ke bore ho gayi hu."
She giggled at last and Shubman looked at her shocked.
"Accha bore ho gayi ho? Excited bana du baby?"
"No."
"Nahi ab kyu no? Come I will show you kaun kitna bore ho gaya hai."
And with that he started tickling her making her laugh out loud like a baby. The night was a gone case.
