Chapter 6

I woke up to the smell of breakfast and alone in Megan's bed.

I sat up from the bed and touched my lips thinking about last night when me and Megan kissed.

Getting up from the bed and going to the bathroom to freshen up

After i freshened up, i walked down stairs to see Blue and Megan dancing to her song Cocky AF while cooking breakfast.

I smiled at the two before i cleared my throat making them turn around

"Goodmorning" Megan said smiling then turning back around to flip the pancakes

"Good morning mama" Blue said walking around the island to sit down after pausing the song

"Goodmorning girls" I said walking to the island to sit down beside Blue

"How long yall been up" i asked furrowing my eyebrows looking between the two

"Since 7:30, Blue was hungry so i decided to cook" Megan said making three plates then setting me and Blue's plate infront of us

"Thank you" i said smiling at her

She walked around the island and sat beside me with her plate

"Your welcome beautiful" Megan said making me blush

I looked down at my plate and started eating

"Mama can we stay with Meg forever" Blue asked after she was finished eating and watching her phone

"Actually i asked Megan could we stay with her until-" i said then i stopped myself remembering i didn't tell her what's happening

"until what ma" Blue asked turning her head towards me and putting down her phone

Megan nodded at me then i watched her collect our plates then head to the kitchen to clean them.

"Well..me and your dad are getting a divorce" i said looking at blue

"Thank god" she huffed and i just look at her shocked

" what do u mean thank god" i asked kinda in shock

"im glad u and dad are getting a divorce"Blue said while getting up from island and walking away

"well damn" i sighed and looked down

few minutes later i heard

"You alright?"

"i forgot you were in here" i said jumping a little

Megan walked towards me and sat down next to me

"You didn't answer my question" she said looking me in my eyes

"Yeah i think so, i just feel like i tried so hard not to argue in front of my children and be violent with Shawn but i don't think that did any justice" my eyes watered after i finished speaking

Megan put her hand on my thigh and start rubbing it to comfort me

"It's gonna be alright babe, i'm gonna be here for you and the kids" she said while pulling me into a hug

I just stayed silent and enjoyed her embrace while i cried in her chest
