Chap 1: Hwang Hyunjin

"Who?" Minho frowned at the unknown name, and his friend Han pouted a little.

"Hwang Hyunjin! The new boy! Haven't you heard of him? Everyone says he's handsome!" Han shaked his friend's shoulders eagerly. "I'm dying to know what he looks like!"

"Oh, come on, you alredy have Lixie, don't you? You wouldn't hurt my brother...right?"

A shiver ran down Han's spine.

"Hey, Minho! I got you a cookie!" The younger boy quickly changed the subject.

"Cookieeee? I love youuuu!" The older smiled gratefuly as he grabbed the red velvet flavoured cookie. "Red Velvet? My favourite!"

"Of course, hyung. The best for you." Han got interrupted by a freckeled cat-alike boy pecking his lips.

"Hannie!" The younger nuzzled his head on the crook of the boy's neck. "I missed you~"

Minho sighed. At first, it had been uncomfortable to see his little brother and his best friend flirting, kissing, and being a couple. However, he had grew used to it.

He left the pair alone and sat on a bench, next to a boy that seemed to be around his age, maybe younger.

Minho decided to test his social skills and started a conversation with the other boy.

"Hey. I'm Lee Minho. Who are you? Are you new here? I don't remember seeing you anywhere on this school."

The boy slowly looked up, and Minho's heart skipped a bit. That boy was ridiculously handsome. The most handsome boy he had seen on his life. He immediatly felt a blush creeping on his cheeks.

Before the boy could answer, Minho asked again:

"Are you perhaps Hwang Hyunjin?"

Minho saw the boy's eyes widen, before he spoke:

"Yes, I am Hyunjin...how'd you know, tho?"

"Well, people says that Hyunjin, the new boy, is very handsome, and you might be the most handsome man I've seen in my life-" Minho nodded slightly, as if affirming what he just said.

A few seconds of akward silence passed, and Minho finally realised what he had said. He immediatly blushed itensly.

"I...I'm sorry! I didn't mean it like that. I mean...you're really good looking bro-"

"Oh...thank you so much, really. Do you really think I'm that hansome?"

"Eh...yeah, well...everyone thinks so." Minho akwardly rubbed his nape, directing his gaze to the floor.

"Really...? I'm not that good looking tho, I believe you're more handsome" A blush creeped on the boy's cheeks as he said this.

An akward silence filled the air, with a short eyes contact, wich Hyunjin immediatly broke.

"So, uhm...what do you think about the school?" Minho broke the silence, changing the subject completely.

"Well, it's okay. I don't think people here like me too much. Except for a group of boys...the most friendly one was a guy who had chubby cheeks...and another one with freckled, I think"

Minho laughed lowly and sighed.

"Those boys are Han Jisung, my best friend, and Lee Felix, my little brother. They are dating. It's kind of akward to me :("

Hyunjin giggled sweetly and Minho's heart clenched on his chest.

"But don't you have a boyfriend or girlfriend? You're pretty handsome." The younger boy asked curiously.

"I don't, actually. I wish I had one tho. I've never been much of a people's person, so it's kind of hard for me. Still, I'm envious that all of my friends have stable relationships. By the way, I should introduce you to them. Will you come with me?" Minho unconsciously grabbed Hyunjin's hand softly.

The younger boy blushed, but giggled and followed the older.

They walked up to a group of very good looking boys, and two boys who recognised Hyunjin.

"It's handsome boy, Lixie! How are you, handsome boy!?" The chubby cheeked boy squealed, while poking Hyunjin's cheek.

"Oh, hey!" A freckled boy greeted happily "Don't annoy him, Hannie" He ruffled his boyfriend's hair gently.

Hyunjin smiled at the two boys cute interaction, and then started to analyze the other guys on the group.

The shortest boy of all seemed to be arguing with a puppy-like boy, who Hyunjin found very cute.

The other guys, one muscular and the other with fox-like features, were happily chatting.

Hyunjin felt like home. He thought of those people he had just met as true friends. And he felt happy.

He smiled sweetly, and Minho, who was staring at him discreetly, felt a joy inside he had never felt before.

That boy was the sweetest candy he could have found.
