11:30 A.M

Selena's POV:
The sun struck out my window this pleasant morning.
It was a little windy outside as the leaves fell from the tree. It was so cozy in my room as I cuddled with my blanket. The sun was so bright that my eyes eventually opened.
I groaned as I opened my eyes. I turned hoping to see my boyfriend but he wasn't there.

"Where could he be"

I slowly got out of bed to go wash my face in the bathroom.
I eventually decided to take a shower and change out of my pajamas.

As I was done with everything I became curious. Like where was my girls.
Usually when they wake up they would wake me up and they always wake up before me.
I decided to go to check up on them but their doors where closed meaning they were still sleeping. I checked the time. It was 11:30. It was still a little early so I decided not to wake them up.
As I walked downstairs to the kitchen I started thinking to myself.

"Wow I'm finally 23 years old. Wow I mean a woman now. I'm an adult."

I reached the bottom step as everywhere was dark. The curtains were closed making the living room dark as night. I couldn't see anything. I got to the kitchen slowly trying to find the lights.

As soon as I found the lights I flicked the switch and...

"SURPRISE"

"AHHHHH"

I screamed as loud as I could.
I turned around immediately seeing my girls and Justin smiling at me.
"Happy birthday Selena" they said together.
Then Justin went to the oven and took out a baked cake.
A chocolate cake.
I smiled so wide. It was my favorite cake.
I didn't know what to do so as soon as Justin laid the cake down on the kitchen table I hugged him and my girls.

"Thank you guys, I love you all so much" I said.

"We love you too Selena" they replied.

"By the way Selena this was all Justin's idea" Courtney said.

I looked at Justin. He was smirking at me.

"Oh really" I said.

"Yes babe" Justin smiled feeling proud.

I giggled.

"Well enough of this cutest we have to get ready for tonight" Ashley said.

"Right" I slowly let go of Justin.

"Alright then baby you have fun with your girls and I will be back in time for your party" Justin said.

"Ok I love you" Selena said.
"I love you too" Justin said as he went to the front door and left.

"The first thing on the list is your outfit" Raquelle said.

"Guys I have plenty of clothes I will figure something out, it's just a little party" I said.

"Ok fine then we get your make up done" Ashley said.

"Ok" I said.

(4 hours have passed)
I have gotten my hair done and makeup.
My outfit was already chosen.
Now everything is perfect. The house was already decorated with the colors I like. Balloons were everywhere on the floor and the food just came.
Everything was set. Now I have to wait until 8 until my friends start to arrive.

I decided to lay in bed and take a nap.

Justin's POV:
I don't know what to buy Selena for her birthday. I don't want to buy her anything to fancy or too cheap. I want to buy something meaningful. Maybe jewelry. Cause I mean pearls are a girls best friend. Right?

I need to hurry up cause Selena's party is gonna start soon.

Authors POV:
Selena was finally going to be 23.
She was so happy that she was spending it with friends.

She finally woke up from her nap. It was now 8. The sun was down. The moon appeared in the sky. The sky was full of stars. The party should start soon.
Selena went downstairs to check up on everyone.

Again, the room was dark.
She walked as she tried to find the light switch. As soon as she found it. All lights in the room flickered on. But these lights were different. They were low lights, different colors.
Selena was amazed as the room looked so nice.
They were balloons everywhere on the floor.
People were here.

All of her friends were here. All the ones she could think of.
But she was upset, she didn't see Justin.
But she did decided to take a deep breath and welcome everyone.

The living room was packed with celebs.
Selena mingled with everyone and ate for a while.

Selena was still wondering where Justin was. It has been 20 minutes.

"Where could he be"

She thought to herself.

Selena walked around for a little bit until someone hovered their hands over her eyes.
Selena stopped walking.

"Guess who this is" someone said in a deep voice. Sounded like Darth Vader.

"Umm.. Brad Pitt" Selena laughed.

"Umm... No guess again"

"My baby Justin who is 20 minutes late" Selena said.

Justin removed his hands from Selena's eyes.

"About that, I'm sorry I was in the studio with scooter and he kept me there for a while" Justin said.

"Ok it's fine" Selena said and kissed him.

(2 hours passed)

Selena's POV:
Wow! So far I'm having a good time. I love it.
But I'm tired and I can't feel my feet.
Justin and I have been dancing for hours. He seemed not tired but I was. These heels hurt.
A slow song came on.

"Come on Selena one last dance please baby"
Justin said.

"Fine" I replied.
Justin held me close as we slowed danced.

"After the song is over Selena I have to give you your present" Justin whispered in my ear giving me chills all up my back.

"Ok I replied in his ear.

You know what present that is. ;)
