Chapter 7: Allies in the Storm

With Kyogre and Groudon freed from Necrozma’s dark influence, Ash felt a renewed sense of purpose. Together with Lugia and his loyal partner Eevee, they began their journey across Hoenn to gather more allies who could stand against Giovanni and his malevolent plans.

The four Pokémon and Ash set off toward Sootopolis City, where the ancient temple of the Legendaries stood. According to Anabel’s intel, several other Legendaries might be hidden away there, awaiting liberation from Necrozma's grasp.

As they traversed the rocky paths and lush forests of Hoenn, the weather seemed to shift dramatically. Sunlight shone through the clouds, illuminating their way, but there were still dark clouds swirling on the horizon. Ash could feel the tension in the air, a reminder of the challenges yet to come.

“Hold on!” Ash shouted as they approached the entrance to the temple, just as a sudden gust of wind swept through the area, rattling the trees.

“Something’s wrong,” Kyogre said, its voice low and resonant. “The temple is in disarray.”

As they entered the temple, the atmosphere shifted. Cracked walls and fallen stones littered the floor, and the sacred symbols of the Legendaries were obscured by a dark haze. Ash felt a chill run down his spine—the corruption of Necrozma was still affecting this sacred ground.

“We need to find the other Legendaries,” Ash urged. “They may still be here, trapped in this darkness.”

As they moved deeper into the temple, the shadows flickered, and Ash felt the presence of other Pokémon nearby. He sensed powerful energies, but they were all tainted by Necrozma’s darkness.

Suddenly, a figure stepped out from the shadows, cloaked in a black robe. It was a woman, her eyes glimmering with a fierce intensity. “You shouldn’t have come here,” she warned, her voice echoing ominously.

“Who are you?” Ash demanded, stepping forward protectively in front of Eevee and his Pokémon.

“I am Zinnia,” she said, her tone shifting slightly as she gazed at Kyogre and Groudon. “And I am a guardian of this temple. But right now, it’s a battlefield.”

“Zinnia?” Ash recalled the name from his past. “You fought alongside me during the Mega Evolution crisis!”

“Yes, and I’ve watched as Necrozma’s darkness has spread across this region,” she replied, her expression grave. “But you’ve come to fight back. You’ve freed Kyogre and Groudon. That gives me hope.”

“Have you seen any of the other Legendaries?” Ash asked urgently. “We need their help to combat Giovanni.”

Zinnia nodded, gesturing toward a nearby room where faint light flickered. “They are trapped within the barriers of darkness. But there’s a way to free them. We need to channel our power together to break the seals.”

Kyogre stepped forward. “We will do it. For the balance of our world!”

Ash felt a sense of unity among them—this was what he needed. Allies willing to fight against the darkness that threatened their home. “Let’s do this, then!”

They gathered in a circle, each Pokémon channeling their energy into the center. Ash closed his eyes, focusing on the bond he shared with each of them—Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, and Eevee.

The energy they created began to glow brightly, illuminating the temple’s dim interior. As they focused their strength, a series of radiant beams shot out toward the barriers surrounding the other Legendaries, revealing their forms trapped in the darkness.
