The Final Stars 4 - The War Begins

Episode 14: Imposters Within Us

Anton walked downstairs and went outside of the hotel to the park. There, he found Ellie, Maria and Nate sitting on a bench. Maria was just eating a cupcake while Ellie was just reading a regular newspaper. Sasha finally came and told them to meet in the mall so they can regroup there.

Ado and Nate caught up with them an hour later. Sasha just gave the side eye stare until Maria stuffed a cookie into her mouth, which she didn't chew because it was too good. Anton looked across the floor to the other side and noticed two people in suspicious appearances. One looks like Ellen and the other looks like Von from Victoria Housekeeping, except both of them had suspiciously glowing red eyes. 

Ellen was hiding her arms behind her back and Von looked at him and winked before they entered an elevator and went down. Anton just gulped while wiping his sweat before turning around and getting a cookie stuffed into his mouth by Maria. He just finished the cookie before making sure the safety on his Revolver is still on. They walked to a bakery cafe where Maria bought the cookies and sat down to order.

Anton thought it wasn't suspicious that there was only a single woman working in the bakery but he saw her hide a metal device that didn't look like a kitchen tool. But she just smiled and offered to help Maria like every bakery seller. Maria ordered all of them cookies while Sasha handed out the cash. Sasha accidentally scraped her hand on the metal edge of the counter and the seller gave her a handkerchief.

Finally, Anton saw her take another towel and wipe the blood on the metal edge and hide the towel in the same drawer as the suspicious tool. Anton just finished his cookie and told them that he was going ahead. Ellie said she would also follow him since she isn't that hungry either so they walked going back to the hotel entrance of the mall. When Anton looked at the same elevator from earlier, he noticed a female and male walk out of there with red glowing eyes. 

The first one really looked like Nate, like an identical twin. And the second one looked like one of Ellie's past friends. This time, the female one looked at him and bowed before walking away with her eyes turning to normal brown. Anton felt the sharp strike in his spine like those were the same people who went into the elevator earlier. He finally reached the elevator with Ellie and went up. He looked at Ellie and she was calmly unwrapping the addicting cookie, meaning she doesn't know about it.

Ellie and Anton entered their room to unpack more of their bags. And this time, Anton noticed Ellie drop one of the shirts, meaning she's nervous.

"Hey Ellie? You alright?" Anton asked.

"Hmm yeah. My hand just does this when it's feeling stressed out or just really cold." Ellie scoffed and slapped her hand.

"Alright. I'll just go check my rifle if it's okay." Anton said before leaving.

When Anton went out of the room, he thought he heard a door close. So he went inside of Room 2011 to check his rifle and saw it was still beside the TV. But as soon as he noticed the window curtains are closed, he felt a kick hit the back of his head before passing out. Then he woke up a while later and found himself tied on the office chair with the lights completely off.

Then the same identical person who looked like Nate walked into the light with red eyes and his sleeves up. Nate NEVER pulls his sleeves that high.

"Who are you? What are you doing in here?" Anton suddenly asked.

He just laughed and faced down before looking back at him with red glowing eyes.

"I believe we've seen each other already." He replied.

Anton suddenly had a flashback about the Victoria Housekeeping people from earlier then a couple of people walking out of the same elevator.

"Wait, you were that Von guy? But how did you change?" Anton asked him.
