I arrived five minutes before Owen did so I walked around the asset's enclosure. The construction crew was still building the paddock even larger than it is now, and I still have to crane my neck to look at the top.
I heard a familiar motor as Owen started to pull up behind me. He had a sad apologetic face. I nodded at him with a smile, hopefully he will understand that I'm sorry for my explosion. Of course he forgives me and walks with me as we head to were Claire is standing.

"We have been pre-booking tickets for months," Claire said as she lead up towards a flight of stairs, "The park needed a new attraction every few years in order to reinvigorate the public's interest."

"Why not just create an already existed dinosaur like the Torvosaurus?" I asked. The Torvosaurus was my favorite dinosaur as I grew up. If I ever got lost in the museum my parents would always find me there.

"Corporate felt genetic modification would up the wow factor," Claire answer as we neared the top of the case.

"They're dinosaurs, wow enough," Owen said rolling his eyes.

"Not according to our focus groups," Claire answered as she reach the top, "The Indominous Rex makes us relevant again."

"The Indominous Rex?" I asked laughing with Owen at the end. Claire looked at us and frowned.

"We needed something scary and easy to pronounce," Claire opened the door and lead us into a glasses in viewing area, "You should hear a four year old trying to say Archaeornithominus."
Owen looked over his shoulder at me.

"You should here you trying to say it," he whispered. I giggled and slapped his arm. He mouthed the word ow. Before walking more.
As we looked around the concrete and steel viewing area I noticed a large crack in one of the glass panels.

"What is that?" I pointed to it as both Claire and Owen looked at it.

"She tried to break through the glass," She said before tapping away on a small touchpad.

"What is this thing exactly?" Owen asked looking into the dense forest paddock.

"That is classified information," Claire answered. Once again she tapped away, "I don't even know all of it."

I chuckled, "You made a new dinosaur and you don't even know what it is?"
Claire sighed,
"The lab delivers its finished assets and we show them to the public," she turned to the fasts food eating worker in the corner, "Can we drop a steer please?"

"How long has it been in here?" Owen asked as he folded his arms and faced Claire and I.

"All its life," she answered.

"So it's never seen anything outside these walls?" I asked.
Claire gave me another glare,
"We can't exactly walk it," she said sarcastically. I turned back to face a steer being dropped down down into the paddock.

"And you feed it with that?" Owen asked. He seemed quite worried.

"Is there a problem?"

"Animals in isolation aren't always the most functional," I said watching the trees in the cage for any movement.

"The raptors were born in captivity," Claire said. She looked at Owen for an answer.

"With siblings, they learn social skills," Owen answered and now was also facing Claire, "and I imprinted on then when they were born. There is trust."

"Right now the only positive relationship it has is with that crane," I pointed at it to express my point, "at least she knows it means food."

"She did have a sibling," Claire said trailing off.

"Where is it?" I asked taking a few steps towards her.

"She ate it," Claire tapped on the glass, "Where is it?"

"Well is it in the basement?" Owen said jokingly. Even though his face was very serious, "Is there a downstairs? Or maybe in the rec room."

"It was just here!" Claire stormed over to the guard and made him scan for thermal radiation, "We were just here."
All of the cameras slowed blinked
NO THERMAL RADIATION
My eyes widened.

"Where those claw marks always there?" Owen said. We walked over to were he was. That's when I saw huge scratched carved into the concrete.

"Did she get out?" I mumbled very quietly. I guess it wasn't as quiet as I thought.

"Oh God. She has a tracking implant in her back. I can find were she is from the control room." Claire left in a blink of an eye and zoomed off in her Benz.

"Why did they have to go create a new dinosaur?" I said as Owen motioned for me to follow him into the enclosure. Once we got to the wall with the marks on it one guard spoke up,

"This wall is 43 feet high. You really think she climbed out?" He turned and faced us.

"Depends," Owen said gracing his hand along the cement carving.

"On what?" The same guard said.

"What type of dinosaur they cooked up in that lab," I answered slowly making my way backwards noticing the marks don't reach all the way to the top of the wall. Right when I was going to say something the guards radio went off.

"Control can you repeat that?" He asked. That's when I realized it.

"It's in here with us," I mumbled.
Owen's eyes went wide. The women on the radio screamed,

"ITS IN THERE WITH YOU!"

Owen quickly grabbed my hand and we ran for it. One of the guards stayed back trying to open the large gate. Open the smaller one you idiot!
As we took off the Indominous crossed our path in stood right in front of us. It was frightening.

"Go, go, go!" Owen yelled. We took of again running towards the closing gate. We couldn't open the smaller, there isn't any time to do that,
"Shit," Owen muttered. That's when I heard the bones crush as the I.Rex ate the worker behind me.
We ran through the door and we just kept running. The Indominous was breaking through the gate doors. Owen then slide under one of the vehicles and I went under with him. He held me close. The Rex slowly made its way towards us. I saw the worker that openses the large gate sitting behind a truck kissing his cross necklace, then dissapearing into the monsters mouth. I quickly reached for Owen's knife and cut the gasoline line for the car, covering our scent.
The Indominous slowly lowered its nose down to were we where hiding. Owen and I held out break and closed out eyes. The Rex stormed of to the forest looking for its next meal. We let out I sigh and got out from under the truck.
Owen embraced me in a hug and put his head on top of mine. I let out a big breath.

"We need to get to control," he said. I was hoping for a love you or don't die on me but like that would happen. We got our bikes with luckily weren't damaged from the Rex and made our way to Control. Just by how Owen was riding I could tell he wasn't the happiest camper.
