Two days have passed since you last saw Jungkook and his friends. The mansion feels eerily quiet without their presence. After the tense meeting with his friends, Jungkook decided it was best for you to return home until things settled down with his enemy. You tried to keep yourself busy, but the oppressive silence of your empty house left you feeling restless and anxious.

You spend your days attempting to distract yourself—cleaning, reading, and pacing the small rooms—but your mind is constantly drawn back to Jungkook and the uncertainty that looms over your future. You can't shake the feeling that something terrible could happen at any moment, and the image of Jungkook's anger from the other night hangs heavily in your thoughts.

As the second day drags on, the doorbell suddenly rings, snapping you out of your reverie. Your heart races as you hurry to answer, hoping it's Jungkook. You swing the door open, but the sight that greets you sends a wave of dread through your body.

Jungkook stands in the doorway, his clothes torn and stained, a deep gash visible on his forearm. His expression is cold and unreadable, his usual charm replaced with a chilling intensity that sends shivers down your spine. "Let me in," he orders, his voice low and rough.

You step aside, your heart pounding as he walks past you into the living room. You quickly close the door behind him, worry consuming you. "Jungkook! What happened?" You rush to him, taking in his disheveled appearance. "You're hurt!"

"Stay back," he snaps, flinching as you reach for him. His icy tone sends a jolt through you, and you pull back, the distance between you feeling like a chasm.

"Jungkook, please, let me help you!" You plead, desperation lacing your voice. You can't just stand by and watch him suffer, even if he's pushing you away.

He doesn't respond, his jaw clenched as he paces the room like a caged animal, clearly trying to contain his anger. You can feel the tension radiating off him, and it makes you uneasy.

"Did you... did you see him?" you ask, your voice trembling. The thought of his enemy lurking nearby sends a wave of fear through you.

"Yes," he replies curtly, his eyes hard as he glances at you. "And I dealt with it."

"Dealt with it?" you echo, confusion mingling with worry. "What does that mean? Are you safe?"

He stops and turns to you, his gaze piercing. "Safe? I'm never safe," he replies, his voice dangerously low. "Not when he's out there."

You take a step closer, your heart aching at his pain. "Jungkook, please, let me help you. You can't just ignore your injuries!"

His expression hardens, and he takes a step back. "I don't need your help. Just stay out of this."

"Stay out of this?" you repeat, incredulous. "I care about you! How can you say that?"

"Caring won't protect you," he snaps, his voice rising. "You think you can just waltz into this life without consequences? It doesn't work that way!"

His words cut deep, leaving you reeling. "I'm trying to understand," you say softly, your voice trembling. "But you're shutting me out. I don't want to be left in the dark."

"You don't know anything about this life!" he growls, his anger boiling over. "You think this is a fairytale? That love can fix everything? This world is ruthless, and I won't let you get hurt because of me!"

You can feel the weight of his words pressing down on you, the truth in them cutting through the fog of your emotions. "But I want to help! I want to be here for you, Jungkook!"

He turns away from you, clenching his fists as he struggles to control his emotions. The sight of him in pain makes your heart ache. You can't stand to see him like this, angry and alone.
