Testube shuffled through the sheets of paper on the desk, feeling extremely nauseous. She was already fully convinced that she had some sort of sickness at the moment, but that wasn't stopping her from working, was it? It never did. She had a bad case of overworking herself, which wasn't a surprise either. It was a common occurrence with the rest of the residents anyway.

Still so much left to do...

As she was one moment away from passing out, Taco was looking for her around the hotel. She hadn't seen her for the majority of the day, which seems a lot like Testube, but that's besides the point. She felt like she was away for too long, doing god knows what. So she decided to find her by herself. Taco wasn't the type of person to look for others, since she knows she could be doing something else right now, but this time it was an exception.

Testube was lost in thought for a moment before hearing a voice that cut through the million thoughts in her head.

"Testy, what're you doing?" Testube immediately realized who was right in front of her-she had memorized it by now. She barely had the energy to look up, but she already knew Taco would have that amused yet exasperated look on her face.

"...Working." Testube sighed out, her voice clearly exhausted.

"Hah, sure..." Taco sarcastically remarked, stepping closer to where Testube was. As Taco got closer, she could notice the signs of fatigue on Testube's face. It was way too obvious, it was sort of funny.

As Testube attempted to skim through her notes, Taco gently shoved them to the side with a grin on her face. "Nope, not happening." Testube gave her an annoyed glare as she attempted to snatch them back. "Hey! Give those back-" She suddenly stopped talking as she felt dizzy again.

Testube could only make out the sound of Taco's muffled talking and the feeling of suddenly being lifted from her feet as her vision got progressively more blurred by the second. She would've loved to protest, but her body seemed to just go limp. She gave up and just settled in her arms. Hm, she was really warm...

Taco was lucky to catch her and somehow be able to carry her. Considering she was made of glass and was filled with some sort of liquid, she was surprised at her light weight. Maybe she's just lighter when sick? She doesn't really know how science works, so maybe that's the case?

She could feel Testube leaning into her, probably unconsciously. It made a light blush spread through her face, but she didn't care too much anyway.

She made her way out of the lab to Testube's actual room; or their shared room, it is. Luckily there weren't any contestants nearby, she would've nearly gotten a heart attack and would've probably accidentally dropped Testube. God knows what would happen if that thought really came true.

Taco eventually made her way to the bedroom, using her foot to lightly kick down the door since her hands were already occupied. She shut the door, making her way to the bed as she placed Testube's body on the soft mattress.

Testube seemed to gain some sort of consciousness and attempted to protest. "Tacooo...let me g-"

"Oh shush." Taco quickly cut her off, pressing the back of her hand against her forehead. She immediately retracted her hand, like she just touched a stove. "Bloody hell, you're burning up!" The shock was exaggerated, but she was genuinely serious.

With that piece of information, Taco went and reached over to grab a cool cloth from the nightstand. She gently pressed it onto Testube's forehead, continuing with lecturing her. "Alright genius, go get some actual rest." Even though Testube felt disoriented and fuzzy, Taco's presence made her feel a little warm inside. She was actually pleasantly surprised at how sweet she was being. It was nice to know that she cared about her.

"You know...you're being really sweet today..." Testube mumbled to her in a drunken manner. A small blush dusted Taco's face before she replied. "Whatever, don't get used to it." She traced circles onto her chest as she continued.

"I still have a reputation to uphold anyway. Taco let out a small laugh. She wasn't necessarily serious though, she honestly didn't care if she wasn't seen as the horrible person she always was. She'd rather move on from that period. It was better knowing she wasn't like that anymore.

"Alright, I'm gonna go get some medicine, and as for you," Taco poked her chest lightly, "go to sleep, ya got that?" She poked her once more. Taco knew Testube was probably too exhausted to even try getting out of bed, so she didn't have to worry about her working yet again.

She looked at Testube one more time before giving her a light peck on the head and mumbling something to her. "Stupid." She said as she stared at Testube's sleeping face. Sigh, is this really the kind of partner she has right now? Oh well, that's not her concern anyway.

She walked away from the bed, exiting the room to go get some medicine-or whatever she could get for her one and only. Jeez, that was sappy.
