The battered group retreated to a distant shelter, far from the reach of Kristian Black. The tension was thick in the air. Kaisir, Alysandra, and the others moved silently through the ravaged landscape, their hearts heavy with the weight of their escape. They knew Black would not rest until they were destroyed.
As they entered the shelter, Alysandra fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face as she saw Kristian standing before her, alive. In her timeline, Kristian had long been dead. The man who now stood before her had been killed by Kristian Black, who sought to eliminate all living beings and ensure his reign of terror was unchallenged. She had never thought she'd see him again, yet here he was, alive.
Kristian noticed her tears and approached her, his face creased with concern. "Alysandra, what’s wrong?"
Alysandra wiped her eyes, her voice shaking. "You don’t understand, Kristian. In my time, you died... killed by Black. We never thought we'd see you again."
Kristian’s brow furrowed in confusion. "Killed by Black? I remember battling Ken Z and the Z Force, but I thought I was trapped in that ice... How can I be alive now?"
Alysandra’s hands trembled as she touched his arm. "Our timelines... they’ve intertwined. The moment Kristian Black appeared, everything began to change. The timeline you know and the one I come from, they’ve crossed over. Now, you're here in my world."
Kristian blinked, the weight of her words sinking in. "So this isn’t just about defeating Black? Something greater is happening."
Kaisir, who had been silently watching the exchange, spoke up, his voice steady. "Mother is right. We’re in a different timeline now, father. My actions—when I fought Black—have caused this convergence. I brought you here."
Kristian’s eyes shifted to his grown son, a strange feeling stirring within him. "You did this? But... how?"
Kaisir took a deep breath, his determination shining through. "When I battled Black, I sensed a fracture in the fabric of time. I didn't know what would happen, but I knew we needed you. We needed your strength to stop him."
Before Kaisir could elaborate, the shelter door creaked open, and a rush of cold air swept through the room. The group turned, their weapons at the ready. But it wasn’t Black who appeared—it was Raiden, Kristian’s first son, followed by Ella, Koby, Bailey, Monique, Matthew, and Blaire.
Kristian’s heart stopped. These were people he hadn’t seen in centuries. His closest allies, his friends, and his beloved Ella. They had died long ago—or so he thought.
"Raiden?" Kristian whispered, his voice filled with disbelief. "Ella?"
Ella stepped forward, her face soft with recognition. "Kristian... We’ve been pulled back, just like you. Our lives, our deaths, none of it was permanent. When Black's dark magic warped the timelines, we were drawn from the past."
Kristian could barely comprehend it. "I thought you were all gone. I thought I had lost you forever."
Raiden stepped closer, his eyes meeting his father’s. "We were lost, father. But when Kristian Black began tearing the realms apart, we were pulled back into this timeline."
Kaisir’s gaze shifted between his father and these familiar faces. He had heard stories about Raiden and Ella, about the battle against Ken Z, but seeing them alive... it felt surreal.
Alysandra looked at Ella, understanding now. "You’re Raiden’s mother, aren’t you?"
Ella nodded, her eyes soft but sorrowful. "Yes. Kristian and I had Raiden before... before everything changed. I was his first love."
