The Weight of Truth :

The moon hung high in the night sky, casting silvery light over Cloud Recesses as Wei Wuxian sat in the courtyard, surrounded by the warmth of his friends and family who came to the lan clan because of some important announcement. The laughter of his companions echoed around him, but the weight in his chest grew heavier with each passing moment. He knew that he could no longer keep the truth hidden-the truth of who he was and the fate that awaited them all.

As the stars twinkled above, Wei Wuxian cleared his throat, drawing the attention of those gathered. "Can I have everyone's attention?" His voice trembled slightly, the gravity of his confession weighing on him.

"What's wrong, A-Xian?" Jiang Yanli asked, concern etching her features.

''What trouble did you cause this time?'' Madam yu asked, raised voice with a lot of irritation toward Wei wuxian who's standing in the front.

Lan wangji side eyed her, not liking the way she speak to Wei wuxian.

Wei wuxian just smile a little then proceed to ignore her, "I need to tell you something important. Something I've kept hidden for too long," Wei Wuxian began, his heart racing. "I'm not just... I'm not just Wei Wuxian. I'm from the future."

Silence enveloped the courtyard, the air thick with disbelief. Wei Wuxian's gaze flickered between the faces of his family and friends, searching for understanding in their expressions.

"Future?" Jiang Cheng echoed, brow furrowed. "What are you talking about?"

''What kind of nonsense is this? do you take us as a foul!?'' Madam yu raised voice is echoing around the courtyard, making everyone flitch and Wei wuxian tremble.

"I know it sounds crazy," Wei Wuxian pressed on, his voice gaining strength. "But I've seen things-things that will happen if we don't change our fate. I saw Cloud Recesses burn to the ground, the Jiang Clan massacred, and the Wen clan unleashing chaos upon us."

The shock in the faces of his companions was palpable. "What do you mean, Lan sect burn down?" Nie Huaisang asked, his usual playful demeanor replaced with seriousness.

"It will happen soon," Wei Wuxian continued, urgency threading through his words. "They will attack, and if we're not prepared, many will die. Jiang Cheng, you'll lose your core in battle, Lan Xichen will go missing, Uncle.... Uncle Fengmian and Madam Yu will die.. I can't let that happen. I can't let history repeat itself."

Jiang Cheng's expression shifted, confusion giving way to concern. "How do you know all of this?"

"I'm from the future Jiang cheng, I already experienced it, all of it," Wei Wuxian replied, his voice cracking under the weight of his memories. "I became the Yiling Patriarch, feared and hated. It was a path I never wanted, but it was born from desperation and loss. If I hadn't been strong enough, I would have lost all of you" His crying is like an arrow piercing through their heart.

Lan Xichen looked at him, eyes fixed on him only. his face shows that he believed in Wei wuxian.

"What happened to you?" Jiang Yanli whispered, eyes glistening with unshed tears. "A-Xian, please, tell us everything." She's scared, scared knowing that her brother Wei wuxian been suffering so much.

Taking a deep breath, Wei Wuxian plunged into the memories that haunted him. "After the massacre, I lost everyone I loved. I couldn't save them, our sect, everything. I couldn't even save myself. I made choices that led me down a dark path. I thought I could change things by becoming stronger, by embracing the darkness. i choose to study demonic cultivation, i choose to protect all the innocent wen but.... but in the end I still lose them.. I still lose shijie, I lose my home.. I lose everything.. I became the enemy of the whole cultivation world." Wei wuxian's having a hard time telling them everything, He don't even know anymore. He can't think straight anymore, he doesn't care if he can't properly explain what happened and will happen. he is losing the strength to fight, he also knows in himself that he needs an ally, because he can't take it anymore if he loses everything again.

"You were just trying to do what you think is right," Lan Wangji said softly, his gaze steady. "But you don't have to carry that weight alone."

The warmth in his voice bolstered Wei Wuxian's courage. "I need you to believe me. We can change the future together. The Wen clan is planning to invite all the clan heirs to their sect as a trap. If we prepare, we can turn the tables. We can save everyone." His strength come back, knowing someone is by his side.

"Why should we believe you?" Jiang Cheng asked, still struggling with the gravity of Wei Wuxian's words.

"Because I've seen the pain that follows, the darkness that engulfs those who we love. And I won't let it happen again," Wei Wuxian replied, desperation clawing at his heart. "We have the chance to change everything."

Jiang Xichen finally spoke up, his voice calm but firm. "I believe in everything you just said, Wei wuxian.'' Lan xichen smiled toward Wei wuxian as he stand up and look of the people around him, ''We need to act quickly. The Wen clan's plans must be thwarted. We all need to prepare for their attack and gather our allies."

Wei Wuxian nodded, relief washing over him as he felt their resolve solidify around him. "We need to gather information, find out who their allies are. We can't allow them to get the upper hand."

"I'll help," Nie Huaisang volunteered, his expression serious for once. "I have contacts who can gather intel from the shadows. We'll need to move fast."

As they began discussing plans, a sense of purpose filled the air. The fear that had once gripped Wei Wuxian's heart began to ease, replaced by the strength of unity. He felt a warmth spread through him, knowing that they were ready to face the darkness together.

Later that night, Wei Wuxian found himself standing at the edge of the courtyard, gazing up at the stars. The burdens of his past weighed heavily upon him, but as he thought of the faces of his friends-Jiang Cheng, Jiang Yanli, Nie Huaisang, and especially Lan Wangji-he felt a flicker of hope ignite within him.

Footsteps approached, and he turned to see Lan Wangji standing beside him, the moonlight casting a silver glow over his figure. "You told them," he stated, his voice soft yet steady. As if he knew in the beginning that Wei wuxian is from the future.

"I had to," Wei Wuxian replied, feeling a mixture of fear and relief. "They deserve to know the truth. They deserve a chance to fight back."

"You did well," Lan Wangji said, his gaze unwavering. "You're not alone anymore."

"I know," Wei Wuxian said, his heart swelling with gratitude. "Thank you for believing in me."

Lan Wangji nodded, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly. "We will change our fate together."

As they stood side by side, the weight of the past began to lift, and for the first time in a long time, Wei Wuxian felt the stirrings of hope, knowing that they would face whatever challenges lay ahead together.
