AJ: Last time on The Walking Dead. Since I can remember, Clem's, Maddie, and Kenny's always been there with me. They taught me to be careful. To be quiet. To be strong.

Pippa: To always aim for the head.

AJ: To atone when I do something bad.

Pippa: To show mercy, sometimes.

AJ: I always listened to Clem, Maddie, and Kenny. Always. But... I've been thinking more. I don't know if they're right every time.

Pippa: They told me to shoot them if they got bit.

AJ: That doesn't feel right. We're doing a lot of bad things. To save our friends. To protect our home.

Pippa: And when Clem, Maddie, and Kenny told me to shoot Lilly...

AJ: I got mad. So mad. I don't... I don't know what I feel anymore. I don't know if Clem, Maddie, and Kenny know either. But I remember all the rules. And the first one... is never go alone.

Clem, Maddie, and Kenny wake up on the boat, which is falling apart. Clem, Maddie, and Kenny will see Lilly's corpse. Clem, Maddie, and Kenny stand up, and an explosion knocks her hat off her head and into the water.

Pippa: Clem, Mom, Dad!

AJ and Pippa hold onto the edge of the boat.

Clementine: Hang on! I'm coming!

There are several more explosions as Clem, Maddie, and Kenny jump over to a lifeboat.

Maddie: AJ and Pippa, you have to trust me. On the count of three, let go, and I'll catch you.

AJ: Promise?

Kenny: Promise. One, two, three!

AJ and Pippa let go; they fall, but Clem, Maddie, and Kenny grab their hands.

Pippa: Hurry, Clem, Mom, and Dad! I'm slipping! Please, Clem, Mom, and Dad! Help!

Clem, Maddie, and Kenny pull them into the boat.

AJ: Now what?

Clementine: We need to find a way down. This ship isn't gonna stay afloat much longer.

An explosion rocks the boat, fraying one of the ropes holding it to the Delta ship.

Pippa: There! We can climb down from there.

Maddie: Well, we have to get there first. Okay, we've got to jump.

AJ: It's far.

Kenny: I know it's far, but it's the only way. You'll have to go first. You'll need a running start.

Pippa: I don't know, Clem, Mom, and Dad.

Clementine: Come on, you can do this, AJ and Pippa. Just run, and jump. You got this.

AJ: I got this... I got this!

AJ and Pippa run and jump onto the part of the Delta ship that is more stable.

Pippa: Come on, Clem, Mom, and Dad.

Clem, Maddie, and Kenny try to move across the boat as the explosions continue. The rope snaps, and Clem, Maddie, and Kenny hold onto the seat.

AJ: Clem, Maddie, and Kenny!

Maddie: Get to the pier. I'll meet you there.

Pippa: I'm not going to leave you.

Kenny: There's nothing you can do. I'll find a way there. Now go!

Clem, Maddie, and Kenny pull themselves up and jump onto the railing moments before the lifeboat falls into the water. Clem, Maddie, and Kenny climb across, avoiding some falling debris. An explosion knocks AJ and Pippa onto the tarp and part of the railing breaks off.
