Friendship is magic part 1

The scene opens in on Y/n still sleeping on the couch he had made, being the procrastinating asshole he is, the best that Y/n has ever made an effort to make the living situation better is buying a sleeping bag for his sister.

It's been about a month since Y/n and Night Light had first arrived in Ponyville. For the most part, Y/n and Night Light had made fine friends with the residence.

Especially among Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Rarity.

Y/n did find Pinkie Pie a bit annoying the first few days in Ponyville and just planned to ignore her until he and Night Light left, but it turns out she did make good cupcakes and was still a delight to be around.

The two assassins finally managed to work off the 200 apples Night Light stole and Applejack did forgive the both of them and even gave them 2 complimentary baskets of apples.

Both Rainbow Dash and Y/n finally did get that race that she craved for. To her absolute surprise, Y/n actually tied with her every single time they raced.

It got to the point that she started considering him her rival.

Rarity and Y/n did also develop a good relationship, though Y/n did detest it when he was forced to become her model, especially for girly clothing that was just uncomfortable to wear.

Finally, Fluttershy did manage to work up the courage and talked with the two siblings. She was excited seeing a talking dragon for the first time, however Night Light was too sensual and aggressive to talk to.

Life was just good for the two killers

However all good things must come to an end. Y/n and Night light had planned to leave the night before the Summer Sun celebration.

It is said this is supposed to be the longest night of the year, as well as the fact that Celestia herself would be arriving in Ponyville.

But very few actually know the meaning of Summer Sun, it's the annual banishment ceremony of Nightmare Moon, AKA Luna.

Even after more than a thousand years, Y/n still couldn't get over Celestia's decision and just wanted to avoid seeing her the best they can.

Night Light: Do we really have to go, I like it here.

Y/n: Look, I know it's sad to see all these people go by but look on the bright side, just keep acting cool and you'll be back to your sex and alcoholic life sooner rather than later.

He walks out of the tree house and retrieves his mail while sipping a bit of his coffee.

Y/n: Let's see.................Garbage...........Garbage................Death Hex.............

He throws them into the trash as the Death Hex letter explodes with the rest of the "garbage" letters along with it.

Finally he came up to a particularly interesting letter that caught his attention.

One encrusted in gold.

Y/n's eyes widened, there has only ever been one person in the entirety of Equestria to ever send a golden letter.

The assassin shakily opened the envelope and started to read from it. Slowly Y/n's eyes went from shocked to absolutely mortified.

It was so bad that Y/n's coffee mug fell from his hand and onto the dirt road of his home.

A scene change shows Y/n arriving at the Mayor's office, initially timid and holding the golden envelope.

Mayor: Ah, Red, my dear boy. What can I do for you ?

Y/n: Mrs Mayor. I don't mean to be rude and all but...........
