The Moon to my Sun- Marjumn

Chapter 6

-Four days as passed since the car accident; Autumn hasn't left Marjorie's side. Reece tried multiple times to get Autumn to go home and rest, she just couldn't leave. -

-Autumn was sitting at Marjorie's bed holding her hand. Autumn was reading The Last Letter from Your Lover; it was Marjorie's favorite when she heard a knock on her door. She looked over and it was Charlotte. -

"Hi." Charlotte said as she walked in

"Oh hi Char." Autumn said as she smiled slightly

"Any changes?" Charlotte asked as she looked at Marjorie 

"Vivian said that her body is healing a lot faster than most. So, there's a chance she would wake up soon." "Autumn said she looked at Marjorie and smiled.

"Really? That's a good thing. We have been so stressed working at the nursery, I don't know how she kept on top of things. She really is a good manager; she may not have been the best in the beginning, but she has grown a lot since then. I don't know where the nursery would be if it wasn't for her." Charlotte said smiling

"She really is. The nursery wouldn't be standing if she wasn't manager. Also trust me she's stressed but she's just good at hiding it. She's so incredibly strong, she puts up with a lot, she has been through so much and she's still pushing through." Autumn said as she looked at her older women.

"She is one of the strongest people I know, you are right she has been through so much within her life and she's still here." Charlotte said as she grabbed Marjorie's other hand

-Autumn just smiled. -

-A few hours go by-

-Charlotte has now left, Autumn went back to reading still holding onto Marjorie's hand.  All of their friends have stopped by checking up on Marjorie and Autumn. -

-Autumn was so deep into the book she didn't notice Viv at the door. She came to check on Marjorie. -

"Oh, hi Viv." Autumn said getting startled 

"Hiya. Sorry didn't mean to scare you, I just came to check on Marjorie. Have you noticed any changes?" Vivian said softly

"No, I been reading to try and get my mind off things." Autumn said smiled softly

-Vivian and Autumn started making small conversation. -

-A Few Minutes later-

-All the sudden, Marjorie could hear soft talking, she didn't know where she was but could probably guess she was in a hospital. The voices started becoming more and more clear, she heard an all too familiar voice. It was Autumn's her girlfriend, she felt Autumn's hand on hers and tried to squeeze it. She tried opening her eyes only to be blinded by the bright lights, so she shut them again. She opened her eyes once more so they can adjust to the lights. -

-Marjorie looked over to see Autumn with a book in her other hand talking to a lady. While talking to Vivian Autumn felt a light squeeze from her hand. She looked up to see bright blue eyes looking down at her. She couldn't believe it, Marjorie was awake, her beloved. Oh, how she missed those gorgeous blue eyes. -

"Vivian!" Autumn said getting her attention.

-Vivian looked and saw Marjorie was awake. -

"Marjorie! Okay hold on. Let me get the tube out." Vivian said paging the hospital staff for help

-Marjorie just nodded. -

"Okay this may hurt; I want you to breathe in and then out." 

-Marjorie breathed in and once she breathed out Vivian pulled the tube out. Marjorie winced in pain. Autumn got Marjorie water. -

"Hi you." Marjorie said looking at Autumn again

"Hi." Autumn said as tears were running down her face.

"I'll let y'all catch up. Marjorie I'll be back in the next hour or so to check up on you. I'm glad you made it." Vivian said smiling before walking out

"I missed you so much my sweet, I stayed by your side I never left." Autumn said smiling not taking her eyes off Marjorie.

"Oh Aut. I missed you too my love." Marjorie said, she reached up to hold Autumn's cheek to wipe away the tears.

"I thought I lost you." Autumn said as she leaned into Marjorie's hand.

"You aren't getting rid of me that easily. Come here." Marjorie scooted over slightly so Autumn could lay next to her.

-Autumn got beside Marjorie almost automatically connecting their lips. -

"Mhm." Autumn moaned into the kiss 

-They backed away from needing air. -

"I missed those beautiful lips." Autumn said causing Marjorie to blush

"Me too my love. I missed everything about you, I didn't stop thinking about you." Marjorie said looking at her girlfriend.

"And I never your side my sweet. I knew you would come back to me; I don't know what I would do without you." Autumn said smiling at her girlfriend with tears in her eyes.

"Of course I came back, I couldn't leave you to soon. I just got you it would be wrong leaving behind such an amazing soul like you." Marjorie said kissing Autumn's cheek.

"Oh Marj. I love you more than you will ever know." Autumn smiled as Marjorie kissed her cheek.

"And I love you than anything, the moon to my sun." Marjorie smiled brightly.

-Marjorie and Autumn just laid in bed holding on to one another. Marjorie soon fell back asleep, Autumn just looked at the older women. This is the most peace she felt in days, she would spend her nights worrying and watching the women breath. Autumn shortly fell asleep with Marjorie in her arms. -

-A few hours passed; Vivian came in check up on Marjorie but when she entered the room, she noticed Autumn and Marjorie sleeping. She hasn't seen Autumn so peaceful since everything happened, she knew Autumn loved Marjorie more than she shows. When Marjorie first woke, she automatically seen Autumn face soften. They way she looks at her with so much love, Viv knew they were each other's forever person. -

-The next Morning- 

-Marjorie woke up before Autumn and just laid there letting her sleep. She knew Autumn didn't get zero and hardly any sleep within the past few nights. -

-An hour passed, and Autumn finally started to stir. -

"Good morning my love." 

"Mhm, Good morning my sweet." Autumn said in her morning voice

"I missed your morning voice, so pretty." Marjorie said smiling 

-Autumn hides her face as she blushes. -

"Aw is someone blushing? So sweet." Marjorie said teasing her girlfriend.

"N-no." Autumn hid her face even more. She forgot how much of an affect Marjorie had on her. 

"Mhm, I think you are." Marjorie slid a finger underneath Autumn's chin and moved it up.

"I- I forgot how you affect me my sweet." Autumn said turning even more red.

"Oh, did you now?" Marjorie said smiling.

"M-maybe." Autumn said hiding her face once again.

"Aw so sweet." Marjorie said smiling.

"Okay you can stop teasing me now. I'm still sleepy." Autumn said annoyed slightly.

"It's just fun being able to tease you again my love." Marjorie said giggling softly

"I still love you though. That's ever going to change." -Autumn said smiling softly at her girlfriend.  

"I love you too Aut." Marjorie smiled

-Autumn and Marjorie stay in bed throughout the day. Vivian has come to check on Marjorie once every other hour. There friends have all stopped by, they all were so happy Marjorie was okay. -
