The early light filtered through the blinds, casting soft shadows across the room. It was quiet, except for the rhythmic sound of breathing beside me. I turned my head slightly, watching Wooyoung as he slept. His face was relaxed, lips slightly parted, completely lost in the peace of sleep. The sharp edges of his usual demeanor were gone, replaced with a softness I wasn't accustomed to seeing.

I let my gaze linger on him for a moment longer than I intended. It was strange, the way he'd come into my life like a storm, turning everything upside down. I had lived in a world of control, power, and precision, but Wooyoung had a way of making me feel out of sync—of challenging the way I viewed everything.

I leaned back slightly, running a hand over my face, still not sure what last night meant. There was something different about him, something that pulled me in despite every instinct telling me to keep my distance. He wasn't part of my plan. But now, he was here, lying beside me in the aftermath of a night I couldn't forget even if I tried.

I glanced down at him again, watching the subtle rise and fall of his chest. There was a quiet vulnerability in him now that was nowhere to be found when he was awake. His guard was down, and for the first time, I saw the pieces of him he tried to keep hidden from everyone—including me. It wasn't just attraction, not anymore. There was something deeper stirring inside me, something I wasn't ready to acknowledge.

I shifted slightly, careful not to disturb him, but even my small movement caused him to stir. His brow furrowed, and he mumbled something under his breath before turning toward me. His hand, still resting against the sheets, brushed my arm.

I watched him for a moment longer, wondering how this was going to change everything. I wasn't the type to let people in easily, but here he was—Wooyoung, the one person who had managed to worm his way into my carefully constructed world.

There was something dangerous about this—about us. Not just because of who we were or the world we belonged to, but because of the effect he had on me. I wasn't used to feeling vulnerable, and that's exactly what Wooyoung made me feel.

I couldn't afford distractions, especially not ones that made me question my decisions, my control. But this—this was different. He was different.

Wooyoung's eyes fluttered open then, and for a brief second, confusion clouded his gaze before recognition set in. He blinked, slowly taking in the room before his eyes landed on me. His lips parted as if he was about to speak, but he hesitated.

"Morning," I said quietly, breaking the silence.

"Morning," he echoed, his voice still rough from sleep.

We stayed like that for a few moments, neither of us knowing exactly what to say. The air was thick with unspoken words, questions we weren't ready to ask, and answers we weren't sure we wanted to hear.

"You're thinking too much again," Wooyoung mumbled, his eyes half-closed as he stretched beside me.

I huffed a small laugh. "Maybe."
