Prologue

Sarah's POV

I took a deep breath as I stepped on the stage. An audience of nearly 20,000+ were here.

This was the college Talent Hunt Program.

As I stepped on the stage with my guitar all lights fell on me, the crowd cheered.

I sat on the seat and fixed the mic near my mouth. I disturbed the strings and the audience cheered.

"Hello everyone... I'm Min Sarah... A 20 year old, college student. And this little girl fell in love with a man, she knew she couldn't have. Circumstances didn't support our love. And when I decided to sacrifice everything just to be with him.
He left me."
The crowd was awed.

"He died."
I gulped the lump forming in my neck.

"The song that I'm going to sing right now. It's not for the competition... Rather me sharing my feelings with a big crowd in the form of a song.
And Paul, my friend to help me with it."
Paul also entered the stage and took his seat, and drum sticks. He was a drum player.

"Today... If I win or not, it doesn't matter... I'd be so happy if he could hear this song from heaven."

I disturbed the strings and the orchestra behind played their instruments adding into music.

Play 'Till forever falls apart' in the background for extra feel.

"OUT ON OUR OWN"
My eyes closed as I sang.

I looked up in the night sky as if saying these words to him.

My eyes closed again and a tear fell off my eyes.

My voice cracked at last and I turned to other side gulping my tears while Paul sang his part.

I GUESS THERE'S NOTHING MORE ROMANTIC THAN DYING WITH YOUR FRIENDS

I WOULDN'T WANNA SPEND A MINUTE LOVING ANYBODY ELSE"

And then we sang together.

The audience waved and showed their phone torches, waving their arms.
