I got dressed and headed out to catch a cab, which took about 15 minutes to get me home. When I arrived, my dad was waiting for me, and there was a hint of sadness in his smile that made me feel uneasy. I couldn't help but ask, "Dad... Has Jungkook reached out to you?" He looked puzzled and replied, "What do you mean? No, he hasn't. Why would he contact me?"
I nodded, feeling a knot of worry in my stomach, and retreated to my room. Once inside, I couldn't shake the thought of where he might be. I flopped onto my bed and stared at the ceiling, a smile creeping onto my face as I thought of him. But then I sighed and rolled over to check his Instagram, only to find that his account was blocked. Confused, I unblocked it and saw he hadn't posted anything in over a week. I understood he must be busy, which is why I hadn't checked in sooner. Maybe he's just caught up with something important. With a heavy sigh, I changed my clothes and made my way downstairs to grab a bite to eat.
"Hey, Dad." He stood up from his chair and wrapped his arms around me in a warm embrace, holding on as if he was afraid I might disappear. When I pulled back to look at him, I noticed tears streaming down his face. "Dad, what's the matter?" I asked, concerned. "I'm going to miss you so much after your wedding, Heejin," he replied, his voice thick with emotion. I forced a smile, feeling a mix of sadness and confusion. *You'll miss me, and I still can't even find Jungkook.* "Don't worry, Dad. I promise I'll come to see you. There's no need to be upset," I reassured him, trying to lighten the mood.
He gave a small nod, and we settled down to have breakfast together. The atmosphere was a bit heavy, but I tried to focus on the moment, cherishing the time we had before everything changed. As we ate, I could sense the bittersweetness in the air, a reminder of the new chapter ahead. I wanted to comfort him, but I also felt a little lost myself, caught between my family and the uncertainties of my future with Jungkook. It was a strange mix of emotions, but I knew that no matter what, I would always make time for my dad.

AFTER 3 DAYS :"Hey Jimin, how's it going?" I asked, noticing the way he seemed a bit on edge after spotting me. He flashed a nervous smile and replied, "Oh hey, Heejin! What's up?" I could tell something was off, so I pressed on, "Not much, really. I was just curious if you've heard from Jungkook. I've been trying to reach him for three days, but he hasn't picked up." Jimin let out a light laugh, but it felt a bit forced. "If he hasn't reached out to you, what makes you think he'll get in touch with me?" I couldn't help but sigh in frustration. "He didn't even mention where he was headed or what he's busy with. His phone is off!"
Jimin shrugged and gave my shoulder a reassuring pat. "Don't stress about it. He'll show up eventually. Just trust him." Those words lingered in my mind as I stared at him, feeling a mix of hope and worry. "But where is he?" I asked, sensing the concern in his expression shift to something more serious. It was clear that we were both feeling the weight of Jungkook's absence, and the uncertainty of his whereabouts was starting to gnaw at us.
