                                 -Chapter 9-

Malia's POV:
A month later

I'm currently driving back home for the weekend. Momo couldn't drive back with me today because she failed some exams that she needed to beg for a retake on....doubt it will work though...but that's momo and her loopholes for ya, so she said she would drive home tomorrow.

I, on the other hand, couldn't wait another day.

Today is Ivory's birthday, she turns 18 which means she will be a child trapped inside a legal adult body.

I always wanted a sister. According to my mom, I would see my cousins with their siblings and always ask her when I would get one of my own. But of course that was before I knew how much of a pain in the ass she would be. She is annoying, she is rude, not to mention spoiled...but she is still my baby sister. And no matter how annoyed or upset I can be with her I always have her back.

So you can imagine the frustration I have felt this past month trying to understand or get a hold of everything that happened the night I saw Ivory and Kylie kissing.

Two very different stories, the only difference is Kylie's actions have spoken more than her words lately when it comes to apologizes and Ivory....well she hasn't answered me back at all.

You see the night everything went down and I kick Kylie out of the house, I immediately gave Ivory the benefit of the doubt about what happened—
Ivory told me she had just come back from a party, that she was drunk and Kylie kissed her. That's it. And at the time....I didn't care about digging more into it, it would hurt so badly that I decided to just try and forget it ever fucking happened because Ivory said it didn't mean anything to her and I believed my sister.

And it was more easy to believe her because Kylie just took the blame. Making me see red.
But now....I see things in a bigger picture and looking back at Ivory's actions....Something was off.

All this time I had been blaming Kylie for all of it without really giving it a second thought. Which after that karaoke night and seeing how much she has shown to respect me this past month....it's hard not to believe Kylie's story....

My sister and I have always been like best friends. I love her and I always will but I can't ignore the signs.... the fact of the matter is Kylie has proven her self in more ways than one to me lately, while Ivory has basically ignored my texts and calls after bring the conversation back up a month ago.

Let me give you a recap of the past couple of weeks....

Kylie stopped leaving me morning notes which is sad but what I needed. Since I wanted to start all over again....and that's exactly what we did—

"hey you can sit next to me in math class if you want, my name is Kylie Cantrall."

"Oh hi, I'm Malia baker."

"Baker? Is your dad a baker or something? Because he baked you ravishingly delicious."

"Kylie....no."

"Fine okay.....hi I'm Kylie Cantrall...you can sit next to me if you—"

"Oh my gosh"
