꒰ঌ ໒꒱In the Haunted House꒰ঌ ໒꒱

Aiden and Tom were now both inside the house. They looked around and wondered where Jake could be.

"Jake?! We are here!" Tom shouted out. But no one seems to respond.

"Ah!"

Aiden fell down into the floor. Tom heard him yell and came to help him.

"Are you alright, Aiden?" He asked, letting out his hand.

"Yeah.. I'm alright." Aiden grabbed Tom's hand, and oh boy. He was strong.

"Woah! You are strong!"

Tom chuckled.

"Yeah, I get that all the time. Especially from Jake a lot."

Tom blinked and realized about Jake.

"Oh yeah, Jake! We still have to look around for him! Let's scatter."

"Uhm, Tom.. It's dark in here, and I don't really like the dark." Aiden worriedly said.

"Oh, well, let's not separate then. Just stay by me, okay?" Aiden nodded as he walked beside Tom.

"Man, we really need a flashlight. It's pitch black in here." Aiden whispered.

"Wait, can't we just glow?" Tom asked.

"Huh? We can glow?" Aiden looked at Tom confused.

"Yeah! I think all we have to do is flap our wings hard enough so we can shine!"

"Alright!" Aiden responded.

Tom and Aiden gave it a go. They flapped their wings hard enough and kept on flapping them until they saw each other glow.

"Woah! Cool! I'm glowing!" Aiden exclaimed. Tom and him were both glad that they were not surrounded by darkness anymore.

"It's easier for us to look around now. Let's go." Tom and Aiden both walked steadily in the house. They didn't know who or what could be here, and they surely didn't want to find out. Tom checked and opened the doors. There wasn't anything that was really in each room than only a chair inside.

"What's with all the chairs inside? This is really freaking me out Tom.." Aiden clinched on to Tom's shoulder as he said this.

"Aiden, it's okay! I'll protect you. And you can always teleport us out of a situation, right?"

"Yeah... Right.." He responded, still worrying and shaking.

James has been walking back and forth for an entire thirty-five minutes now. Ellie was starting to get annoyed.

"James! Can you stop walking? Just come sit here with me and Gabby."

James stopped when he heard Ellie call out his name. He turned around and saw that Gabby was already sleeping in her lap. Maybe Ellie is right. He has been paranoid for Aiden, but he did make a promise. So why should he be worried? Then again.. something could have happened to him, and he's already in trouble, or possibly him, and Tom couldn't save Jake in time so he can be dea-

"JAMES!"

"AH! What do you want?"

"You were fucking standing there like a idiot. Now, come sit here beside me."

James walked to Ellie and sat down beside her.

"What's on your mind, man?" She asked, putting her hand on his shoulder.

"I'm just worried for Aiden." He responded.

"And not for Tom?" She scoffed.

"No, no! I'm worried about both of them. Don't get me wrong, but.. Aiden, he is only so precious to me."
