the lunch riot - storytime

cast: me, friend 1, friend 2, shark friend, pig guy, cool guys crowd, assistant principal who would kill us, assistant principal on his phone, + more people

so. today was a hell of a day. my school hosted a pajama day thing and like all Fridays when we wear odd stuff, there was a competition at lunch! one of my friends wore a shark pajama thing and that was cool.

fast forward to the actual lunch time. everything started out normal, i presented some of my comics to my friend, we had another round of identity/sexuality crisis, and we ate food. 

there is an assistant principal for every grade... uh the one for my grade did not come even though he was at school. so another one came and he announced: "everybody who is wearing pajamas, come to the stage for the contest!"

some disqualifications later, they took pictures and the few adults present voted on who they liked. they announced that my shark friend won 🤩🤩🤩

BUT this is when pig guy comes in. basically, he was wearing a pig pajama thing. and he's popular. so the ✨cool boys✨ (another name for brainrot sport idiots) created a crowd because they wanted pig guy to win and people started banging on the tables. i was so confused.

they chanted something, and while they were loud, i couldn't understand them. my friends and i just kinda sat there. i finally asked friend 2 what was happening and they said "they're saying '[pig guy's name] NEEDS TO WIN!! i honestly feel bad for [shark friend]. it's like the whole grade is going against them." AND WELL THAT MADE ME KINDA MAD. meanwhile, friend 1 simply poured their mango fizzy drink into their water bottle.

it just got crazier. the assistant principal in the lunchroom just looked at his phone and all I knew was that our grade's AP was gonna KILL US. bro was gonna throw us back to advisory seating. and THEN the bell rang but nobody heard it because 75% of the grade was still chanting.

my friends and I said "screw it" and went back to our classes. my whole class kept talking about it for the first few minutes when we got back to the art room and the teacher (same one that plays proseka) had to ask what happened in lunch. we also got her to watch the minecraft movie trailer.
