I woke up.

I was still laying on top of the sheets and covers.

My body was still sore but not as much as it had been.

I had felt hot last night so I had turned the overhead fan on before I collapsed onto the bed.

The bad thing though was, without being under the covers on my bed and the fan blowing cold air onto me, my body was feeling a bit more cold and stiff this morning.

I slowly climbed out of bed and stumbled tiredly to the bathroom.

I did the usual; use the toilet, wash up and brush my teeth.

I slowly walked down the stairs to start up a cup of coffee.

I needed to wake myself up more.

I could only function if I had at least two cups of the stuff in my system.

Without it, I would be a mindless zombie.

I pulled the machine and other items I needed from the box and set them on the kitchen counter.

I plugged in the machine, poured the water in, placed the grounds and strainer in and pushed start.

I walked back over to the box and pulled out my favorite cup.

On it had the Army logo.

I set that on the counter and walked back up the stairs to get dressed.

I knew my fridge downstairs was empty, so making breakfast was not an option.

I decide to go find a diner and eat there, then go buy some groceries.

I threw on my dark denim skinny jeans, a Black Veil Brides t-shirts, my Invader Zim, Grr jacket and my black converse.

I made sure to grab my sunglasses to hide my astonishing aqua blue eyes.

I did not want people staring at me.

I walked a tad more stable down the stairs and made my coffee.

I drank two cups and then placed my cup in the sink.

I walked over to the front door and grabbed my keys.

I pulled the hood up and placed my shades on.

I looked around the drive, with my back facing my now locked front door before it hit me.

My truck was busted.

I said (beep) it and decided to just walk.

It took me a while but I made it into town and found a diner.

I opened the door and looked around.

A couple of servers were walking around, serving people.

It did get kind of quiet though.

People were staring, whispering amongst each other.

A lady server came up to me and asked where I would like to sit

I told her a booth.

She pointed to a open booth near the front and had a window view.

I sat down and she placed a menu down.

I opened it up and ordered a coffee to drink.

People were still staring and then I remembered I was still wearing my shades and hood.

I pulled down the hood but kept my shades on.

I knew if people saw my eyes they would just stare more and others might just join in and it would create some kind of strange staring contest.
