A'zeala Williams pov|18

Yawing I pulled my sheet closer to my face. Nothing hits better than this sleep.

"A'zeala! Likkle girl get up, yuh nah guh school!" Mommy yelled making me jolt up.

Translation: "A'zeala! Little girl wake up, aren't you going to school?"

Climbing out my bed I stretched before yawing again. Hm my breathe stinks.

No sah! Imagine if a mi man yaad mi did deh? A woulda shame.

Translation: No sir! Imagine if I was at my man's house. I would be ashamed.

Stripping of my clothes I grabbed my towel before walking to the back door.

Yes people a board house mi live inna and a outside bathroom so mi affi bathe outta door.

Translation: Yes gize I live in a board house and its an outside restroom so I have to shower outside.

Growing with my mom I didn't have much. Still don't but I am working towards giving here everything she wants and move her from the ghetto.

I love my mom dearly and will do anything to please her even if its for me to sell my heart or give her my soul. I will.

Catching the water from out the drum I poured it in my bath pan. Adding some bleach I started soaping up my rag.

"Swear mi affi win thats why mi try again." I sang as I scrubbed my body with my rag.

Once I was finished I began washing off my body. Rinising out my rag I pinned it on clothes line before going back inside.

"Young lady hurry up and ready before you get a late pass." Mommy said making me nod. Rushing into my room I quickly got ready.

Spraying some of my bath and body works spray I made my to the kitchen.

Sipping my crease tea. My face scrunched up in disgust. A wonder if mi can dash weh it.

Translation: I wonder if I can throw it away.

"Nuh bother think bout it." Mommy said pulling me from my thoughts.

Translation:"Don't bother thinking about that."

Heaving a sigh I continued sipping my tea.
