You and the girls are running down the pier racing against the clock
Diana: Come, colleagues - Diana rallies the squad masterfully despite her fatigue - The twilight of our struggles is not yet upon us.
Y/n: Speaking of twilight - You gasp for breath whilst trying to keep the rhythm - We better reach it before I'm out for good.
Kara: Hurry! - Kara picks up the pace, overtaking your lead from the left - We'll manage, even if I have to carry you!
Karen: Right... - She pants and gasps, clearly not being able to keep up - behind you.
You notice it first, and you lag a bit behind to help her
Y/n: Come on you can do it! - You take a moment to catch your breath - Even if it means I'll have to carry you on my back

Babs: It's getting away! - She points to the ferry boat that is now blaring it's horns as it floats away

Y/n: Yes we can! - Without thinking, you scoop Karen onto your back, her gasp being muffled by the rush of wind as you charge forward
Babs: I'm gonna be late for work!
Kara: Work? I'm gonna be late for the concert! Come on, Y/n! Karen! You can do it!
Y/n: You'll have to jump from my back when we get closer Karen - You cough and gasp from the intense strain from the last few blocks - I won't be able to make it.
Karen: But why? I won't leave you-

You feel the adrenaline prickle your skin as you come closer to the edge of the dock, Karen grips firmly on your jacket and...

Karen gasps as you abruptly stop right before falling into the water
Karen: I... - She stammers - I can't.
She gets down from your back, her posture slouching again
The ferry horn blares as the boat floats farther and farther, as the rest of the girls look at Karen with pity from afar
Babs: Use you sup- - She cups her hands to sound louder, but Zee quickly silences her
Zee: There are far too many people around for that.
Babs: Oh...
Jessica: I hope they'll be all right - She says as she waves awkwardly at you and Karen
Diana: Fear not, kind Jessica. Karen has great strength, yet undiscovered, and Y/n... At least he tried
Kara: Yeah, they'll be fine - Kara says, as she leans on the guardrail
Karen & Y/n: We'll be fine!
Kara: They'll catch the next one.
