Bib's POV _

We came back to Bangkok.

For past few days Jeff has been trying to talk to me but I ignored. Why should I listen to him?

I'm not that selfless.

But one thing is good that my buddy Dean is back. At least he makes me laugh and never failed to do so. Dean always stick together with me.

I checked a few account files. Done for now.

I sat on the couch with a heavy sigh.

Dean finds my lap as a sleeping pillow.

"Hey bud.. when you'll take me to meet him?"

"He's not in Bangkok. He'll be back within 1 week I guess."

"That's too long!"

"Stop nagging. I'm tired."

He got up as his face is close enough.

"You're suspicious.. "

"What?"

"You're hiding something.. you seems different than usual.. what are you hiding?"

I blinked twice. Kinda in scruple whether I should tell him or not.

Suddenly the door wide open. We both looked at the doorway. Jeff is standing like a statue.

The position Dean and I were  maintaining, from outsider's POV it won't look so appropriate I guess.

Dean was literally hovering over me with our faces close.

Yet I didn't push him away immediately. It was he who jumped off after hearing Jeff's cold words.

"Did I disturb..."

"No no... Well.. we were having some words... Dealing.. I'll be waiting in the car."

"I'm catching you right away.." I got up to fix myself then solemnly asked him back. "What are you doing here?"

"I need your sign in this file."

I grabbed the file then pulled but he didn't let go. I tried to pull it a few times but no use.

"What are you up to? Let go.." I'm being annoyed.

He didn't answer but pushed me down on the couch, his hands tightly gripping my wrists.

"Get off Jeff!! I'm warning you!!"

"What are you up to?!" He's staring at me like I'm his prey and he's going to devour me alive.

"Are you into.. that guy?!" He's foaming in anger.

"What's your problem with my personal life? You're just a nobody. You hear me?"

"Don't test my patience, Bib!!"

"Oh.. so only you can doubt me, test me, throw me away at the end of my life.. and I can't even give you a cold treatment.. I can't ignore you.. and after your harsh treatment I'll beg before you.. is that what you thought about me? Do you think I'm that cheap?"

"Bib! for God's sake stop saying those words!!! Please stop.. please." He cried. I stopped struggling. I was at a loss seeing his tears streaming down.

There was still silence lingering around us for quite a moment until he broke it.

"I never meant to look down upon you.. what I said.. I just.. I was afraid.. I was afraid of.. of.. falling for someone.. I.. never knew you would.." words stuck between his throat.

I think he wanted to complete his sentence but couldn't.

"jump into the sea."

".... No one.. ever.. cared about my feeling before.. I thought I would.. lost you.. I didn't.. I never meant to hurt you.. I knew I love you that's why I got more scared.. I don't want to get hurt again.. not anymore.."

"Jeff.."

"I'm sorry.. please don't leave me.. please.. I'm begging you.. please do love me like before.. don't hate me.. "

He pulled me closer to his chest.

I felt overwhelmed as the unsteady rhythm of his heart reached my ear.

My hands were shaking but I hugged him tight.

I know for past several days I was really harsh with him. I was angry too. I wanted to know if he really loves me or not.

"Do you... Really love me?" I asked I don't know why.

"I love you, Bib.. I really do."

Did he say it?

"You said you love me.. I'm warning you.. if you dare to fool around.. you'll be dead."

"I won't.. I promise."

"Hmm.."

He smiles. A genuine smile that captured my heart.

I took a deep breath then hold his face. Our lips met.

We kissed before but this time it feels different. It has the affection we both grew for each other.

He gripped me tighter as his lips softly caresses over my lips. My heart melts.

We let go and our eyes fixed. 

This feeling is so special.

"WOW!!😳😨!"

We both jumped off when Dean literally let out a small scream.

Oh God.. now I really have to go through a long explanation session.
