Part 0: A New Life, A New Beginning

It was 17 years ago when the Zero Reverse disaster happened. No one knows how or why it happened, but the damage cost the lives of many. A large piece of New Domino city was separated and became an island known as Satellite. Though, no one was at fault, the people of Satellite were treated with disgust and as criminals. Many children were left as orphans, including three little boys, who became brothers, then heroes. However, this is the story of a girl who joins them and the journey that lies ahead.

(Y/N) P.O.V. 

I was 7 years old when I was woken up in the middle of the night. It was Mama who was picking me up from bed and helping me to change. She had beautiful long (h/c) hair that she kept in a high ponytail . Even though, I was still sleepy, I can tell Mama was really scared.

"Mama, what's wrong?" I asked with a yawn.

"Nothing darling, we're uh...going on a trip!" She lied with a smile.

I didn't really question why or where we were going, I was just a little girl after all. I just nodded my head and let my mom dress me and put a backpack on my shoulders. Mama picked me up in her arms and walked to my dad. He was a handsome man with pretty (e/c) eyes. He had two large bags with him and helped Mama into our old car. The apartment we have been living in was also very run down. I didn't understand why all of our stuff was old and dirty, but I didn't question it, because I somehow knew that it would make Mama and Papa sad. We drove to the docks, where another man got us a boat. That's when I became more awake.

"Mama, Papa, where are we going?" I asked.

"It's alright darling" Mama smiled at me "We're gonna go to a new home. One were we'll be safe."

For some reason, my parents were always afraid of something. It's like we were hiding from something or someone. We hardly went out and when we did, they would always be looking over their shoulder. I didn't understand it as a child, all I knew was that we moved a lot and they wanted nobody to be near us. Before I knew it, we were sailing off from New Domino City and into the sea. I tried to fall back asleep, but then I heard a loud crack and felt the boat become very rocky. Mama held me tight as Papa tried to control the boat, but the storm was too strong. The boat was tipped over and I didn't feel my mom's arms around me anymore. I was scared, it was dark and cold, I couldn't see my parents anymore.

I heard a voice and looked up and saw the moonlight shine on me...they were both so beautiful...I closed my eyes and fell into darkness. It felt like only minutes had passed but I was woke up to something warm and soft. When my eye sight adjusted, I saw an unfamiliar ceiling and the sun barely setting. What happened? I heard a door opened and looked over to see a strange woman and man. The woman had dark skin and hair, she wore what looked like a nun's outfit. The man next to her had on a lab coat, something I had seen my mom wearing at times.

"You're awake, I was worried you wouldn't wake up dear." The woman spoke to me in a gentle tone. I just stared at her, not knowing what to say.

"My name is Martha and this is Dr. Schmidt, how do you feel?" Martha asked as they slowly got closer to me.

"M-mama...Papa...where are Mama and Papa..." I finally asked. The two adults looked at each sadly before looking back at me.

"I'm sorry dear..." Martha began, "A fisherman had brought you here early this morning. He said he found you washed up on the port, but it was only you. It's been hours since then and no one has reported finding anyone else."
