The classroom was already filled with soft chatter as I slid into my seat, determined to focus on my notes and avoid any distractions. But, of course, distractions had a name-and that name was Lee Heeseung.

A minute later, Heeseung strolled into class like he owned the place. As usual, a lollipop dangled from his lips. He moved lazily to his seat at the back, plopped down, and kicked his feet up on the desk in front of him. His smirk was already in place as he looked around, clearly enjoying the attention.

I rolled my eyes and buried my face in my notebook. He couldn't just sit like a normal student, could he?

"Hey Angel, what's wrong?" Heeseung called out, his voice teasing and loud enough for me to hear, even though he was seated in the back.

I ignored him. He wasn't getting under my skin today. Not if I could help it.

Mr. Choi, our teacher, walked in shortly after, silencing the room as he placed a stack of papers on his desk. "Good morning, class. I hope everyone has their homework ready to turn in today."

I knew exactly what was coming. My eyes flicked to Heeseung, who was still lounging back, the lollipop stick bobbing lazily between his teeth. He hadn't moved a muscle.

As Mr. Choi started collecting assignments, I handed mine in quickly and focused on the front, pretending that I didn't know Heeseung was about to get into trouble.

When Mr. Choi reached Heeseung's desk, he froze, his eyes narrowing at the sight of the lollipop. "Lee Heeseung," he said sharply, "take that out of your mouth. This is a classroom, not a candy shop."

Heeseung looked up, slowly pulling the lollipop out with a soft pop, the stick still dangling between his fingers. He didn't move to throw it away, though. Instead, he just grinned. "It's just a lollipop"

Mr. Choi's gaze hardened. "I said, get rid of it."

Heeseung raised his eyebrows in mock surprise but didn't make any effort to comply. Instead, he put the lollipop right back into his mouth, sucking on it like he hadn't heard a word.

The room went dead silent.

"Do you find this funny?" Mr. Choi snapped, crossing his arms. "Lee Heeseung, this is a classroom. There are rules. I won't tolerate this kind of behavior."

Heeseung took the lollipop out just long enough to respond, "Not trying to be funny, sir. Just enjoying a sweet treat."

The audacity of this guy.

"And your homework?" Mr. Choi asked, his tone tight with frustration. "Did you do that, or are you too busy with your 'sweet treat' to bother?"

Heeseung grinned wider, popping the lollipop out once again. "Didn't do it."

A few students gasped, but most of us had seen this coming. Mr. Choi's face grew redder by the second.

"You didn't do it?" Mr. Choi repeated, his voice barely contained. "This is the third time you've failed to turn in your assignments, Heeseung. Do you think you can skate through this class without doing any work?"

Heeseung shrugged casually, the lollipop still twirling between his fingers. "Maybe. Guess we'll see."

Mr. Choi took a deep breath, trying to keep his composure. "This isn't a joke. If you continue like this, you'll fail this class. Do you understand that?"

Heeseung's grin didn't falter, but his eyes flicked toward me for just a second before returning to Mr. Choi. "I get it."

Mr. Choi let out a frustrated sigh, rubbing his temples as if Heeseung was giving him a headache. "You're on thin ice, Lee Heeseung. If you don't start taking this seriously, there will be consequences."
