“Soobin! So, can I invite you now for coffee?”
“I have deadlines to meet, bye,” Soobin casually denied while holding some papers and started walking away when they meet on the hallways.
“God, he’s still mad?” Yeonjun whispers and sighs as he goes ahead to his hall.
“Sir, the student hasn’t found yet?” Beomgyu asks when he stumble upon the police inside the campus.
“I reckon, Young Choi. We don’t have any single clue and whereabout,” Detective Jeon, replied with frowns and feints of annoyance on his eyes.
“I am saddened by this news. I’m sorry if I don’t have anything to help, Detective,” Beomgyu apologizes.
“Oh goodnesss, Young Choi! Your father is a great help already to us. You have classes, maybe? You should get going now,” Detective Jeon, advised.
“That’s good to hear, sir. I’ll head on now. I hope she’s in the safe place,” Beomgyu smiles a bit before bidding his good bye.
He started walking towards the main hallways of the campus. Most of the students are greeting him, some are intimidated, and a particular student passed by him without even giving him a glimpse.
“Kang Taehyun?” Beomgyu pauses from walking and so Taehyun that’s already steps further from him.
Beomgyu turns around and their eyes meet. “Y-yes?” Taehyun almost stammers, he gulps, and Beomgyu noticed his hands are trying to scratch his own arms but grabs his sleeves instead.
“Your shoelace,” Beomgyu smiles and then turns his back, completely walking away and leaving Taehyun behind.
Choi Beomgyu wouldn’t mind not until he felt fangs and wolfeyes piercing on him at the corner, waiting to devour him at any minute. Beomgyu smirks and continue walking away.
For two days, Yeonjun is constant on asking Soobin out because of the guilt he’s feeling and in every question, Soobin will say no regardless of his situation.
“Bro, the grand rally is tomorrow. You should be preparing and starting engaging with the other students now. Not trying to ask Soobin out for a coffee,” Kai stated and sips his drink.
“I just… feel so guilty, you know?” Yeonjun pouts and play with the straw. He frustratedly sighs.
“What are you guilty of, to be exact? Dude, he literally slaps someone with a metal tray!” Kai exaggerated. “And speaking of the devil,” he added and rolled his eyes then pointed outside the window.
Yeonjun look outside the window and saw Taehyun with Soobin, probably waiting for taxi. Next is Beomgyu appeared and stood beside Taehyun. Soobin quickly dragged Taehyun and put him behind him without glancing at Beomgyu.
“Oh, are there some dramas?” Kai mutters and chuckles.
On the other hand, Yeonjun is invested. He sight Beomgyu smiling, Taehyun’s head is low, and Soobin doesn’t give a damn about anything. A taxi stopped and they both left Beomgyu behind.
“Do they all know each other?” Yeonjun thought.
Kai just shrugs his shoulders and continued sipping his blue lemonade. “Ah by the way! I aced our recit earlier, I know I’m good,” he laughs after boasting.
Although bothered, Yeonjun smiles at Hueningkai and pat his head. “Really? Good job, Kai! I know you’re doing your best everytime,” he compliments.
“Doing my best?” Kai slight frowns. “I’m the best,” he corrected.
Yeonjun chuckles, “I know,” he acknowledges and they both laugh at it. “Let’s get going now. I gotta prepare for tomorrow.”
