**AUTHOR'S POV**
The school bell rang, echoing through the corridors as students rushed out of classrooms, eager to escape for the day. Naina was in the middle of gathering her materials after a long tutoring session when a teacher’s voice boomed down the hallway.
“Miss naina principal is calling you to office, please!”
Naina quickly stuffed her notes into her bag, glancing at the clock. She was already running late for her appointment with the principal, who had called her in for an important discussion.
As she hurried down the hallway, her mind raced with thoughts of what the meeting might entail. Distracted, she didn’t notice the edge of her shoelace until it was too late. Just as she stumbled, she felt a strong arm wrap around her waist, pulling her back from the brink of a fall.
“Careful! Miss” a deep voice said, steadying her.
Startled, Naina looked up to see a man she didn’t recognize. He had striking features and an air of confidence that made her heart skip a beat. But before she could even express her gratitude, he released her and quickly walked away, leaving her momentarily breathless.
“Wait! Thank you!” she called after him, but he didn’t look back, disappearing into the crowd of students.
Shaking her head to clear the daze, Naina continued toward the principal's office. When she arrived, she found Mr. Kapoor waiting for her with a stern expression.
“Naina, thank you for coming. We need to discuss some issues regarding school management,” he said, his tone serious.
“Of course, sir,” she replied, still feeling the warmth of the man's hand at her waist.
“First, I’d like you to meet Shaurya Singh Rathore. He’s the owner of the school,” Mr. Kapoor said, gesturing toward a figure standing near the window.
Naina’s heart raced as she recognized the man who had caught her before her fall. Shaurya turned to face her, his expression cool and composed, but she could see a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
“Shaurya sir, this is Naina,” Mr. Kapoor introduced them. “She’s one of our best teachers.”
Naina felt a rush of embarrassment as she remembered their brief encounter. “Hi, sir” she managed, her voice slightly shaky.
“Hello,” Shaurya replied, his demeanor calm but distant. There was something about his presence that made her both excited and nervous.
Mr. Kapoor continued, “Naina, I’d like you to show him around the school and discuss some of the current challenges we’re facing.”
“Sure, I’d be happy to,” she said, trying to maintain her composure.
As they stepped out of the office, Naina felt the weight of the situation. She was supposed to guide the new owner, but her thoughts kept drifting back to the moment he had saved her from falling.
